Chapter 2

Blake Pov~

I took the elevator down to the main lobby, I was not in a good mood already and I haven't even seen Stark's face yet. The doors opened and I walked out and towards the lobby. I took a deep breath and slowly opened the door.

The only person in the room was my brother. He looked taller, muscular but still had the same face.

"Brother." He says walking over to me with a huge smile, and gave me a hug.

"How are you?" I ask

"I am doing better now that I am here."

"I'm guessing the whole "human world" thing didn't work out for ya huh?"

"Nope, not at all. I was stupid for ever leaving the pack. I was scared to come back, I thought you guys would have never accepted me back after the way I left. But when I heard of your True Alpha title I knew this was my chance."

"Stark you can't come in here and think just because your my brother I am going to give you the highest position."

"Of course not!" He reached over and touched my shoulder speaking in a softer tone now

"Listen Blake I am not the same spoiled little kid I was 6 years ago. I grew up and I actually had to fend for myself, no one was there to just give me stuff, I learned that the hard way. I am willing to work hard to make it to the top."

"I'm glad you finally realized that. You will start training as soon as possible. Do you know what position you want?"

"I'm haven't thought that far yet, I honestly wasn't really sure if I was even being accepted into the pack." He says

"Okay well think about it and get back to me. Stark we're brothers no matter what happens, your family."

He smiles "Thank you. Now speaking of family who and where is your mate? I can't wait to see the girl that got stuck with you as a mate." He jokingly says smirking.

I chuckle. Wait did I just chuckle? This is very odd. This must the longest normal conversation we have had since we were little.

"You don't know who my mate is? I thought you knew already."

"Nope I wanted it to be a surprise. So can I meet her."

"Of course, I believe she is in the kitchen helping the chefs. Let's go meet her. " I say leading him out the door, but stopped abruptly and turned to face him "I have one more question. Why didn't you want to meet in my office?"

"Oh,...uh I wasn't sure how you were going to react so I wanted to be in a open area next to the front door so if things went south I can make a run for it." He says sheepishly.

I laugh at him and slap his back, we walk side by side towards the kitchen. I was also giving him a mini tour of this side of the pack house.

Honestly it feels good to have my brother acting like a brother for once. I don't trust him yet, but if he continues this attitude I think we might actually get along.

".........and that is how we got that hole right there." I finish my story, with the both of us laughing.

"Wow, I have to say lil bro this house is HUGE! I'm impressed! But I'm guessing all the credit goes to the mate huh?!?" He says nudging me.

"Oh yea, wait till you meet her, you will be surprised."

"Is it someone I know?"

"Yea, she is from the Blood Moon Pack. We met there. Come let me just introduce you."
