As l walked into the house with five different bags filled with food l put them on the counter. Once l started putting the bags away l started to get worried M/n would always run down to give me a big hug if he was home. He was home his car was here and he did not have plans today. As l got done putting the stuff away l sat on the couch putting on a movie. After half of the movie was done l felt really nervous and felt the need to check on M/n it's like my gut was saying so. I stopped the movie and walked upstairs I slowly made my way to our shared room. I then gave a little knock saying "am going in M/n" I then opened the door to see M/n covered in a blanket his face look right at me with tears running down his face red nose and red puffy eyes. I then ran to him putting him on my lap covering the blanket with him. "What's wrong bub Why are you sad?" I said looking into his eyes. "Family problems my mother asked for money again and l said no making her mad at me calling me these names over phone before l hung up" M/n said cuddling up into my chest more feeling hot tears fall down his cheek. I then start to rub his back comforting him "bub don't let these words get to you they are nothing" I said putting my chin on his shoulder. "But she is my mother.." M/n said in a whisper. "She should not be called one asking her son for money all the time? Like l understand if she needs it sometimes, but all the time that's just not right" l said making him put his arms around my waist. "Thanks.." M/n said making me smile. "Let's go watch a movie!" I said carrying him down stairs to watch Tv.
