The next day Chris helped Jayne have a shower and change into some joggers and a t-shirt. The nurse came in to change her dressing on her scar.
"I'm going to head home for a shower and to pick up the kids, is that alright J?" Chris asked putting her pajamas into the overnight bag.
"That's fine. It'll give me a chance to spend some time with the twins." Jayne said.
"Ok, I'll be back in a few hours. I love you." Chris said bending down to kiss her.
"I love you too. See you later." Jayne said.

Jayne caught the nurse with a big smile on her face. She watched the nurse remove the old dressing and looked down at her tummy.
"Some mums are freaked out at the sigh of their scar." The nurse said cleaning the wound.
"I'm not because I know that because of this I have my two perfect babies," Jayne said with a smile.
"That's a lovely way to think about it." The nurse said.
The nurse finished cleaning the wound and applied a new dressing.
"There you go. The wound is looking really good for only being a day old." The nurse said.
"Can I ask you something?" Jayne asked slightly nervous.
"Of course." The nurse said.
"Please don't take this the wrong way. Earlier, when Chris was leaving your smile seemed to get bigger and you almost seemed to blush. Don't you see couples be like that all of the time?" Jayne asked.
"Oh my gosh! I didn't realize it was that obvious. We do have couples like that every day. But it's not every day we have Torvill and Dean. I have been a huge fan for years and when I found out I was going to be your nurse today, it threw me a little. And seeing you and Chris be the couple that everyone wanted you to be for so long was quite overwhelming." The nurse said blushing slightly.
"It's fine I just thought we had done something that doesn't really normally happen," Jayne said.
"A lot of people, including myself, would speculate on what kind of relationship you would have. I thought you would be exactly as you are, cute, romantic and deeply in love, but someone looking in can still see that you are the best of friends." The nurse said.
"That's exactly how Chris and I see it," Jayne said with a smile.
"How about I go and get the twins, they are due to be feed and I think they want their mummy to do it." The nurse said.
Jayne gave the nurse a quick smile before she left the room to get the twins.

**At the family home**

Chris had gathered all of the kids in the living room, he knew if he didn't keep them all busy they would never leave the house on time.
"Ok guys, while I'm in the shower and getting changed I want you to do some jobs for me, that way we can be ready in half the time. Ok. Jack and Sam, I want you to get the car seats ready and put them in my car. Heather, I want you to get some fresh clothes ready for your mum. Megan, I want you to get some clothes ready for the twins. Kieran, I want you to get the overnight bag from my car, empty it and put the clean clothes in it. Ok everyone knows what they are doing?" Chris asked.
A yes came from all of the kids apart from Jessica.
"What can I do daddy Chris?" Jessica asked.
Chris lifted her up.
"You can do the most important job of all and pick out one small soft toy for the twins. Can you do that for me?" Chris asked.
"Of course daddy Chris!" Jessica said kissing his cheek.
"Ok guys, let's go!" Chris said heading for the stairs.

The kids scattered to their designated rooms, and an hour later everything was done. When Chris came back downstairs the kids were all sitting in the living room waiting for their dad.
"Is everything done?" Chris asked.
"Yes, can we go now?" Jack asked.
"Sure, who is going to drive?" Chris asked.
"Heather and I said we would both take our cars then that way it leaves your car empty for mum and the twins," Jack said.
"Ok, sure," Chris said picking up his keys.

Everyone piled into the cars and headed for the hospital.
