Diandra slowly walked downstairs. Her brown hair was quite messy, and her over sized pink night gown hung loosely on her body. It was still quite early. Her alarm clock was still buzzing, but she was to drowsy to turn it off. Diandra usually would have had a shower before she went downstairs but all of her clothing was in the washing machine and dryer room. She looked into the kitchen, and her stomach rumbled.
"Not now..." Diandra mumbled, as she went into the snippy kitchen.
She opened the fridge and in there was nothing. Well according Diandra there wasn't. She went to the cupboards and she grabbed a granola bar, and she went to the room that held her washing machine and dryer. The twenty-three year old women grabbed her frayed jeans and a shirt. And Diandra went back to her normal routines for the morning.
As soon as she went downstairs, it was after noon. Diandra opened the window to let some air in. She then did house hold chores. Night came, and she sat on the couch, reading a book. Then the door was thrown open. Diandra swiftly lifted her head. Her eyes widened. A man stood there, he held a pistol. He pointed it at her. There was tears in his eyes.
Diandra slowly lifted her hands, "Sir? Please put down the gun. I'll give you want you want, or need. Within reason..."
"Tiffany! Why'd you leave me!" His voice was full of rage.
"Who is Tiffany?" Diandra calmy whispered, trying to show that she wasn't afraid.
"Don't play dumb with me!" The man yowled.
"I am Diandra..." The woman sighed.
"I said stop!" He shot, it pierced through the couch, inched away from her knee.
Diandra closed her eyes and let out a vociferous scream. She knew what would happen... But at least he'll get caught. Diandra stopped screaming and she felt no pain. The man tried to shoot her but he was out of ammunition. So he took out a knife, and stabbed her in the neck. She choked, and felt her life slip away. And Diandra knew it was the beginning of something.
