Mr&Mrs...Whatever!

Chapter 2

*Usha Pov*

I shut the door behind me and walked near the table to see the CEO seriously studying the files. I stood there for a few seconds and cleared my throat.

Then he was looking at, and I stopped before I started fanning myself. He is 'The Handsome' but alas, he is going to be my boss. Of course, if I got selected in this interview.

"Ms.Mehta! Please sit down." He said smiling. His smile is also awesome making me smile back at him.

He placed his hand forward for a few seconds, but I didn't understand so I looked at him confused. When he gestured towards the file in my hands, then I understood and immediately placed it in his hand.

"Sorry, sir!" I mumbled, sitting straight.

"It's ok, Ms.Mehta." He smiled and started studying my file.

And then the questions started one after the one continuously. I guess I tried my best to answer them as much as I can, and then I skipped the mistakes, I could do because of the experience I got in previous interviews.

"So overall you are good, but now tell me what you know about the enemy company to mine." He asked looking at me directly.

"You have an enemy company?" I asked him back with a little shock.

"I do! Why? Didn't you research for that information?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Why do we need to find out what the enemy company does sir? We should try to set our goals to beat ourselves and not to do it to someone else." I replied and then, I mentally face palmed myself.

I shouldn't have opened my big mouth and that too in front of a successful business man. This job is gone for sure! I thought and started scolding myself.

"You know what, Ms.Mehta?" he asked with normal expression.

"Yes, sir?" I asked him gulping.

"You are right! And let me tell you what you should be from tomorrow onwards." He replied.

"I know, sir! I am sorry about that, and I will not talk like that again." I started babbling and then I repeated his words in my mind.

"You mean I got this job like really?" I asked him with wide eyes.

"Yes! You got the job as P.A for Raj. Who is of course me." he replied and laughed.

I laughed with him little awkwardly because I am still in shock. I actually got the job, and that is wow.

He suddenly stopped laughing and cleared his throat, saying, "Sorry about that. I just thought I told a joke."

"You did, sir!" I said, assuring him.

"That's great! So will you join today itself or will you come from tomorrow?" He asked.

"Today is fine and please call me as Usha sir." I replied and took my file from him.

"But one thing, Ms.Usha. You need to work hard and learn everything with more speed because no one waits for anyone." He said in a serious tone.

"Sure sir!" I said and got up as he told me to take over the small cabin in front of him. He need not decide anymore because all the interviews are already over, and I was the last one.

I entered the small cabin and looked around to see a small table with a system and three phones on it. I need to go and meet the manager so that he will tell me what I need to do.
