*Usha Pov*
"Usha! Have your breakfast." Mom called me when I started moving towards the door.
"I am not hungry Mom." I said, looking at her.
"You didn't even have dinner last night. So please for me have it." she said smiling.
I nodded and sat with them. After finishing I cleared my throat and said, "I am sorry about my shouting yesterday."
"Forget it, dear! We have a good news for you. We are going to search for some best matches for you." Dad said smiling.
"Actually, we already searched some matches for you." Mom said smiling.
"Mrs.Mehta! Those are bad for my daughter. I have some other perfect matches for her." Dad said.
"I am her mom and I know whom she will like. So I am going to select them." Mom said and with that they both started fighting again.
"I don't think I want to get married now." I shouted looking at them.
"What? But last year, you told us that you want to get married that too arrange marriage." He said in shock.
"Exactly! I said those words last year, but now I have a great job, and I want to do it without any complications." I said shrugging.
"Is there any boy? Tell us, we will not object to you, but we will see whether he is a good person or not." Mom said lovingly.
"I will never get involved in a love marriage. I have the best teachers who made sure of it." I said, looking at both of them and then left the house.
I don't know until when I always leave my house in a sour mood. Today they actually fought regarding the selection of matches for me.
I mean after witnessing their fights for all these years, who will in their right mind even get married. I will definitely not!
I reached the café in the cab. This is costing me too much. I need to buy some vehicle immediately for loan or something. But I am still a new employee, and I can't do that this soon.
I slowly drank my coffee and called Deepu. I didn't call her this whole week.
"Wow! I was just about to call you, dear cousin." she said lifting her phone.
"Someone is in a good mood!" I said calmly.
"And someone is in a bad mood!" she said sarcastically.
"Don't be over smart! Now, tell me what is the good news you are so eager to tell me?" I asked her with little interest.
"I got rejected! Isn't that amazing? He rejected me to get married." she shouted and I can tell she must be jumping up and down.
"That's great! And my parents are now searching for a groom." I said frowning.
"For what?" she asked confused.
"Idiot! Why do they search groom? Of course for me." I replied.
I looked up to see another idiot entering the café and coming towards me grinning. Can't I have one day without looking at him? I am ignoring all his calls I am getting from today morning 6am onwards.
"I will talk to you later Deepu." I said, hanging up the phone.
I was prepared to leave, but he immediately stood beside me and made me sit down in the chair again. I glared at him saying, "What the hell!"
"Please listen to me!" he said and sat in front of me.
"Tell me!" I said, folding my hands and leaned back in the chair.
