The Time of my Life {Ongoing}

Chapter Seven

We finally made it to the scout out and it was super beautiful. There was a glimmering waterfall more beautiful than you could imagine. The grass was green with the morning's dew sparkling on it's leaves. Strangely, there seems to always be morning dew on the grass... Penny pulled a blade of grass from the patch, licking it...

"IT'S MOUNTAIN DEW! On the ground, like, WOW!" She was exasperated!

"Penny, you wanted to talk to me?" I asked, walking to a peer next to us. Penny nodded, dropping the blade, on the way she ripped a hand full and continued. I sat on the edge still leaving room for Penny, I watched her walk towards me and sit down.

"Now what did you want earlier?" Penny caught my gaze.

"Well, the Chimera doesn't have a name... So I wanted to converse about it..." She explained

"Okay, What were you thinking?" I asked, getting back the eye contact we had a moment ago.

"Well how about Toshi? Or perhaps Momo! Oh! Or maybe Kei! Aki would be cool too! We could call 'em Aki-kun, Toshi-chan, Momo-kun, or Kei-chan!" I thought about it for a minute, I closed my eyes thinking of possible names.

"How about Morgan, or... Hmmmm?" I asked then.

"What if we named them all of those names, like different ones for different emotions? Morgan could be neutral, Kei could be wise, Toshi could be mischievous, Momo could be fruit, and Aki could be hopeful!" She shouted, smiling gleefully.

"Good chimera Morgan!" She yelled, wrapping her arms around the neck of the chimera, hugging them.

"Hm, I wonder what animals you're made of..." She spoke in an ominous manner.

"Looks like a bit of a horse, cheetah....?"

"I am also human..." We both jumped back

"AH!" I screamed.

"Sorry Master Megan and Penny." Morgan said lowering her head to have her gaze on the Mountain dew grass. Her voice was deep and dry, it seemed as if a computer were attempting, and failing at sounding like a child.

"It's ok you just scared us..." I explained then looking at Penny slowly backing up.

"Some of us more than others." I said, still my gaze on Penny. Penny walked back up towards us, I watched her again until she was next to me once more.

"Wait, chimeras are built from many animals... Not just conjured... Which means..." Penny began speaking slowly, processing her own words as she spoke. I waited until Penny finished.

"So what animals are you?" She finished scanning her up and down. "I'm a horse, cheetah, lion, human, little bit of wolf, and eagle." I looked at her then back at Penny.

I whistled to Satan, he came flying down.

"Bag please Satan." I said as he grabbed it off of his neck and placed it in my hand.

"Okay, now go round up the others please." I said, pulling out a treat and handing it to him. Satan flew away chewing his treat I had given him, he picked up the leads on his way. He hooked the leads on the halters. (A/N: Don't ask how a wolf can do that, it's magic...)

Penny and I walked down with Morgan, Penny was leading her and I was grabbing the animals as I saw them. I got onto Satan, he was lying down waiting for me to get on. As I got on the animals behind me were eating their grass.

"Come on guys let's get a move on." I motioned for everyone to follow. They all listened and followed as I had a tight grip on their leads. Maggie played with her fingers on Luna's back with Penny. As we left the clearing we all had to move into a single file line because the path was slim.

Satan lifted his wings straight up so he wouldn't scrape them on the trees lining the small path we walked on. We took one more step before I felt really nauseous.

"Sat-" I passed out before I could finish my cry for help.

{A/N: Sorry for the late update, I've been pretty busy. I have my first Rodeo in three weeks! Woo! So, this will probably be the last update for a while, just bear with me here.
