You walked in, caught my attention
I've never seen a man with so much demention....The past few days here have been a complete and utter waste of my time. My idiot father didn't even enroll me into a school yet and I'm grounded for calling his slutty girlfriend well, a slut. Apparently it hurt her feelings and upset her.
That wasn't going to stop me, though. I creep out of my room quietly. It was about seven in the morning and everyone was still sleeping. I was already dressed and ready to go. I almost make it out the door when the lights flash on.
"Justin, what the hell? Where are you going?" I turn around on my heels and stand straight up. "Helping the....homeless..." She rolls her eyes. "I won't tell dad." I run and hug her and rush outside quietly.
The beach was really nice and peaceful in the morning. I loved the way you can literally hear the ocean. No people just nature. I run down where the sand meets the waves. My shoes would get wet but I didn't care.
After soaking my feet, I walk over to the sidewalk and stroll barefoot. It was much warmer then Washington even in the morning.
I was just about to put in my earbuds when I was interrupted by load screaming and hollering. I turn around and there were skateboarders rushing towards me. I hurry and step to the side but was trampled by one of them.
I open my eyes and found that they were met with light, hazel ones. Whoever he was, he was on to of me, pinning me down with his body. "Please get off me." I grunt.
He looks me up and down. "Shit man, I'm sorry." He says, getting up and pulling me up with him. He had short blonde hair that came down just above his ears. The tips of his hair we're dyed brown. It was almost as light as my hair.
"I-it's cool." I put my palm on my forehead and feel a liquid. I look at my hand and realize that I was bleeding. Badly. "No! You're bleeding!
He sits me down on the nearest bench and takes his shirt off. He had a really nice body. I could see the tip of his boxers. Calvin Klien. Wow. Ok.
He pats my head with his now balled up shirt. "You aren't from around here, are you?" He ask. I shake my head slowly keeping my eyes locked on his. After realizing I was staring, I look down at my now ripped jeans.
"Where are you from?" He says, throwing his shirt in the trash bin next to us. "Washington. State, not D.C. Well, I lived in both and neither of them compare to here." He smiles. His teeth were white enough to blind me.
"So? Do you trample people often or, am I just special?" I ask, getting up and picking up my phone. "Usually one person a day. Maybe two. I've gotten used to it, really."
He picks up his skateboard and places his hand on my back. "Let me treat you to some ice-cream as a way of saying sorry for almost killing you.
I reluctantly walk beside him. We were in silence most of the walk until we reach a stand that said Ice Cream And Frozen Beverages. There were already about ten people in line waiting anxiously for what seemed to be just cheap ice-cream.
I take a look at the menu. "Bacon bits as a topping? That's just disgusting." I gag. He rolls his eyes. "It's the best idea since sliced bread! I'll order you a cup." Another guy comes up and Alec pulls me up to him before anyone else could get in his line.
"Two large Bacon Vanilla cups." Alec orders. He hands him a ten and the guy takes it and goes to the ice-cream dispenser. "Two larges." The man says handing us our cups.
"Thank you." I say taking my cup. We walk down the sidewalk and Alec almost devours his cup the way he ate his so fast. "Dude, holy shit." I say. "Slow down." I take my spoon, scoop some and put it in my mouth.
"Good, right?" Alec asks me. I hand him the cup and spit the ice-cream on the ground. "That was horrible. Why. Why did I try that?" He takes mine and eats it. I wipe my mouth with my sleeve and pray that I forget the taste of that.
After he eats the ice-cream he pulls out his phone and starts freaking out. "Dammit! I'm late!" I flinch at the sound of his sudden yelling. "Hey! Come to this tomorrow. It'll be fun." He pulls out a flier from his back pocket and puts it in my hand.
Before I could say anything, he was off on his skateboard. I read the flier. A beach party? Karaoke? I saw that there was free food and drinks and decided that it couldn't be that bad. I check my phone. My dad would be up by now. I rushed home, hoping he wouldn't realize I was missing.

I was creeping in from the back door. It was closer and no one would see me. I heard footsteps which probably ment that my father was getting ready for work. Hallie was probably sleep, not covering for me at all. I creep upstairs and to my room.
"Good morning, Justin." My dad says before I turn the doorknob. I spin around on my heels and face him. "Yea. Hey." I say failing at tring to sound like I didn't just sneak out.
"I'm headed off to work, now so. If you need anything, you know my number, right?" I quickly nod. He turns around and takes a few steps before saying "Next time you want to leave the house, just ask." He walks down the hallway and turn the corner. The bastard knew I snuck out. Screw him.
I go into my room and shut the door behind me. The box of half eaten eggrolls were still on my bed. Hallie gave me hell for not sharing them with everyone else. I sit on my bed and pull out the flier
Alec gave me. I really didn't want to go to this but I didn't want to stay here. I decided that any chance I get to leave this hellhole, I'll take it. Karaoke it is.
