So Hey, let's be friends
I'm dying to see how this one ends

"So where did you go yesterday?" Hallie ask me. We were sitting in the living room. I was trying to watch t.v but apparently that wasn't going to happen.

"No where, really. Just the beach." I say turning the volume up on the t.v. "Justin, I'm trying to have a conversation with you. Talk to me." I roll my eyes and turn the t.v off.

I turn and look at her. "What's with all this brother-sister bonding you've been trying to do. When mom was alive you acted like I didn't even exist. She dies and all of a sudden you have a change of heart? I don't buy it."

I could see the hurt in her eyes. "Justin. I know you didn't mean that." I throw the remote at the wall and start to yell at her. "Yes I did! Stop saying that! You are pissing me off!  You didn't give a shit about me when mom was alive. Don't pretend you care now!"

Tears roll down her face and she runs upstairs. I grab her car keys and rush outside. I won't deal with this bullshit.

Alec

I was down at the board walk setting up some mics and speakers for the beach party tonight. I didn't even know how many people were coming but I had to make sure that everything was where they should be.

"Hey, be careful with that!" I yell at one of the volunteers. She rolls her eyes and keeps walking. There was a buzzing in my pocket which ment someone was calling me.

I check my phone and realize it was my girlfriend. Or, ex-girlfriend. I didn't know what we were anymore. We've been off and on for the past year.

I decided not to pick up because I had much better things to do then argue with her. I shove my phone back in my pocket and continue working. Tonight was going to be perfect.

Justin

It was around nine. The flier said the party was going to start around eight, eight thirty. I head down to the beach where there was music blasting and people dancing around everywhere.

I didn't know anyone here. It was wierd. The only person I did know, trampled me, invited me to this party and is nowhere to be found.

I brush past the rapidly moving bodies that were dancing to an upbeat song about shaking something off. I didn't pay any attention to it as I desperately try not to get suffocated.

As I move out of the crowd and head towards the boardwalk. There was a giant sign that said Karaoke Tonight above the entrance. My mind flashes back to when my mom used to take me to singing competitions. She stayed for every one of them, even if it ment being late for work.

I walk through the entrance and gets knocked over by some boy running towards my way. "Sorry! I'm so sorry!" He says.

"It wouldn't be the first time." I say as he helps me up. "Hey! I know you! I ran you over with my board. Yikes! Now I just run you over with my body. This isn't a good start to a potential relationship."

I raise my brow at him. He starts laughing and pats my shoulder. "I'm really glad you could make it! Justin, isn't it?" I nod, surprised he actually remembered me. "Alec, right." I say pointing at him.

He gives me a big smile. His teeth are really white. And his smile....gorgeous. He pulls out his phone and asks for my number. I type it in and hand it back to him.

"Are you doing the karaoke tonight?" He points at the stage where some girl was really rocking a Fall Out Boy song. I smile. "Yeah. I'll sing for you." He hugs me and runs off. He hugs me. And I just said I'd sing for him. I didn't want to! I haven't sung infront of people in forever!

"No! I ment-" But he was already off. I run and try to catch up to him. When I do, he was yelling and arguing with some blonde girl. His sister?

"You are a living piece of shit, Alec. I can't take this anymore!"

"Sarah, what the hell are you talking about? You know her and I slept together when you and I weren't! So calm down. And don't pretend you are all innocent. You've slept with most of the guys here. The only one you haven't done is Justin. But you'd fuck him too if you had the chance."

She slaps him and says some choice words words about how tiny his penis was, and storms off. So. He's straight. Yaaay....

He turns to me, holding his face with tears in his eyes. "I shouldn't have come. I'm going to go." His face frowns up. "Yeah. Go. I'll be fine. I'm...just. Bye, justin." He brushes past me and dissapears in a crowd of people. This party was not as fun as I planned.
