Stiles' POV:
Theo had come home from work talking about how 'exhausted' he was and told me to get dinner started. So here we were sitting at the table across from each other eating the spaghetti I had made.
I knew he was going to get angry if I took too long so I made something quick and easy. We ate quietly for a few minutes which honestly just made me anxious so I asked him how his day was. "I already told you it went, Stiles. Why are you asking again? Are you deaf now too?"
"N-No. I-I'm sorry." I tried not to stutter but every time he talks like that, I just can't help it. Theo took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of his nose then, without warning, he grabbed his plate from the table and dropped it, the plate shattering on the wooden floor.
He looked up at Stiles and said in a sharp voice "Pick it up." Stiles nodded hurriedly and immediately got up to clean the spaghetti off the floor but as he stood from his chair, hearing it scrape against the floor in the quiet, Theo quickly grabbed his cup of water and threw it at Stiles.
Stiles just barely managed to duck when the cup shattered against the wall behind him, the pieces falling above him. Pulling a piece of glass from his cheek, his eyes held nothing but fear as he shook on the floor, Theo stalking over to him menacingly.
General POV:
Stiles quickly got into the shower and got ready for work, trying to do anything to get his mind off of the nightmare, or memory, he had woken up to. The nightmare meaning he was getting ready for work pretty early in the morning.
As Stiles was getting his shirt on though, he thought back to Derek and the night they'd had together. This made him instantly forget about his nightmare and put him in a pretty good mood, a much better mood than he had woken up in.
He decided to wear a white button-down shirt under a navy blue sweater, letting the collar show over the sweater and some blue jeans with his black converse. He made his morning coffee and was getting his things together in his satchel when he noticed he didn't have his phone.
He'd started looking around, under the couch, on his bed, in the fridge, but for the life of him, he couldn't find it. Stiles was changed and ready to go, hoping that maybe, for the first time since he'd started working at the station, he'd make it to work on time.
He was looking in his satchel when he remembered that he's left it at Derek's the night before. He rushed over to the door with his satchel in hand and locked the door, stuffing his keys into his pocket as he walked over to Derek's apartment door.
Stiles knocked on the door and it opened on the third knock. He saw Derek open it and step aside to let him in "Hey Der, I left my phone here last night." he said as he walked over to the coffee table.
He grabbed his phone and checked if he had any missed calls or messages. He saw that he had one missed call from an unknown number but he ignored it thinking 'If it was important, they would have left a voicemail'.
Stiles turned off his phone and stuffed it in his pocket along with his keys before finally looking up. If he had done so earlier, he would have noticed that Derek had company and that they were now all staring at him.

After Stiles left Derek realized how tired he was, it seemed that even sleep was forgotten when he was with him. He went into his bedroom, throwing his phone on his bed, and took a quick shower to relax.
When he was finished, he changed into some sweats and got into bed. He grabbed his phone, saw it had died, and plugged it in. He went to bed, yet again, with an idiot grin on his face. It seemed only Stiles had had this effect on him and he wasn't sure how he felt about it but he knew it was nice.
Derek woke up to someone knocking on his front door. He groaned and rolled over, ignoring the knock thinking it was just a package or something, but when the knocking was heard another time, with a sharp inhale, he got out of bed and put on a random shirt on the floor.
The third round of knocks that was heard throughout his apartment made him give out an "Okay, okay. I'm coming!" as he walked barefoot towards the door. He didn't expect to see his family on the other side. His entire family.
"M-Mom, guys. What are you all doing here?" Derek questioned nervously. "Well if you had answered the phone you would know that we were coming." Thalia said, walking past him with the other members of his family trailing behind her.
Derek closes the door only for there to be another knock only two minutes later. He opened the door again to see Stiles on the other side. "Hey Der, I left my phone here last night." Stiles said as he walked over to the coffee table and grabbed his phone to check if he had any messages.
Derek just stood by his now closed door looking back and forth between Stiles, who still hadn't noticed his family, and his family, who had curious looks and questioning smirks on their faces. When Stiles finally looked up he jumped at the sight of all the new people.
"Um- Guys this is Stiles, Stiles this is my family. This is..." Derek said, then pointed at each person and said their name. Stiles' eyes went wide as he shuffled over towards them. He holds his hand out for the Thalia to shake "Hi! I'm Stiles, Derek's-" "Boyfriend!"
