Chapter 1

A/N: Here is the first chapter! Hope you enjoy it.

Y/N pov:

I heard the sound of my alarm clock, disturbing the peace I was enjoying, until I realised that I had school. The first week I was sick, so sleeping in was kind of meant to happen.

I reluctantly got up, and got ready for school. I put some clothes on, washed my face and almost forgot to bring my mask, can't forget that.

I put my bag over my shoulders, and got out of the house, making sure that I locked the door.

As I walked towards the main road to where the school was, I got a couple of looks from people, it was a normal thing to see, so I just ignored it and played some music to distract myself.

The breeze was light and the sun was shining brightly. I walked towards the massive building, and stepped a foot into the territory, let's get this over with.

Normal pov:

You looked everywhere, going into different directions, until you realised that you were lost. You didn't want to ask a person where to go, so you carried on with your search.

You ended up finding the class, and went in. Luckily, you were early so there was no one in the classroom. You sat yourself down and waited for everyone to join.

Once everyone joined the class, including the teacher, the lesson started. It was your average lesson, nothing weird about it. You completed your work quickly and started to doodle on a random piece of paper you had, wishing for this day to finish quickly.

It was finally lunch. You grabbed the lunch you made from your bag, and went up the flock of stairs to the roof.

Typically, the roof of the building was empty, so it was a great place to eat in peace and quiet, but that was not the case.

As you got on top of the roof, you took a quick glance to see if it was empty, but luck was not on your side.

You saw a group of boys and one girl, all together, making an absolute ruckus of a noise. They seemed to hear your footsteps and looked over at your direction. Shit.

"Oh, sorry for disturbing you, I'll just eat somewhere else."You mumbled. You take one quick glance at the people before trying to leave, but you hear one of them start to talk.

It was a grey haired boy, with a beauty mark near his left eye. He looked at your direction, his attention at you. "I haven't seen you around, are you a new student?" He said.

"No I'm not, I was just sick for the first week, that's all." You mumbled once again. "Do you want me to show you around the school?" A girl with black hair and glasses said.

"There is no need to, I'm fine on my own, thanks for the offer though, you should stop wasting your time talking to me." You said as your face turned the other direction.

"You're not wasting our time, I really think Kiyoko could use someone like you to talk to." The boy with the grey hair said, as he did a big smile. The rest nodded.

He has a nice smile, no wait, stop thinking that! "Come on and sit with us, we won't bite!" A boy with a strand of blonde hair said. It seemed like they wouldn't give up, so you had to give in.

You sat next to the now named girl Kiyoko and lifted your mask a bit so you could eat. The boys around you were talking and even arguing about things, but they would laugh it off at the end. They seem like a nice bunch.

You told them your name and some things you liked, when you got hit with a question from a boy named Tanaka.

"What's with the mask?" He asked. You obviously didn't say the actual reason, rather an insult. "Didn't your parents teach you to mind your own business?" you mumbled loud enough for him to hear.

The blond boy Tsukishima snickered a bit. "What's with the laugh beanpole?" You questioned. The rest of them started laughing as you gave him a glare.

Lunch was about to end, it was quite a good experience for talking to people you never met. You even traded some food.

"Y/N, do you want to come to our volleyball practice in the afternoon?" Kiyoko said. That was the first time someone invited you to something, so it shocked you.

"Sure, why not." You answer. You all got up and got ready to get back to class.

You were about to run off, but stopped quickly. You lifted your mask a bit up to the point where your mouth was seen. You gave a quick smile at Sugawara and put the mask down.

He looked at your direction, gave a smile and did a little wave. You ran down the stairs and walked to your class.

Maybe having friends isn't such a bad idea.
