A/N: Hey people, hope you are well. Here is a new chapter. Hope you enjoy it!

As the teacher was giving an explanation about who knows what, you were too busy scrolling on your phone and looking out the window.

Time couldn't go any slower. Every minute you kept checking the time but it was always the same. The thing was, you were actually excited about something, which was a surprise.

After what seemed like forever, the teacher dismissed the class and you went immediately to the gym. You didn't know where it was, so you went exploring more. Should've taken Kiyoko's offer.

You finally found the doors to the gym, and opened them with some force. The squeaking of the gym floors and the sound of volleyballs dropping echoed through the room.

You saw the volleyball team practicing, sweat dripping from their faces. They seemed tired. Kiyoko was on the sideline and noticed the doors open and looked in your direction.

She gave a smile and ushered you to join, which you did. The boys looked at you and gave a weak smile before dropping to the floor.

"Are they ok?" you said, a bit worried and concerned. "They're fine, it's time for their break so they will be better soon." Kiyoko said.

Their break rolled around. They were all pools of sweat. "Can you help me fill some water bottles Y/N chan?" Kiyoko asked. You agreed and were sent to fill some water.

You carried the bottles filled with water and went to give it to the group. They all grabbed the bottle, and Tsukishima gave you glare and snatched it away from your hands. Rude.

Sugawara took the bottle from your hand, and gave a smile once again. He really does have a sweet smile, omg Y/N stop thinking that what is wrong with you.

"You know L/N, you can become a manager to help Kiyoko, you seem good at it." Daichi said as you passed his water bottle to him. "Let me think about it." You said.

Their break ended, and they started practicing once again. You watched on the sideline and watched their every move. They all were very good, but you didn't see Sugawara play yet.

"Kiyoko, why hasn't Sugawara played yet?" You questioned. "Oh, before this year, he was the main setter, but now since Kageyama took his place, he gets switched every once in a while." She answered.

You felt quite bad, imagine working so hard to be replaced with someone who was still a starter, and he seems ok about it, he must be sad though on the inside.

The practice match continued and Sugawara finally got switched in to play. You watched him play in awe and to how calm he was, he seemed like a natural at it, he looked so peaceful.

He glanced at you and gave a wink. It felt like he sent a spark to your heart. He just seemed so perfect, but you kept that to yourself.

Practice finally ended, and it was time to go home. "If you want to become a manager, the spot is always open." Kiyoko spoke as she said a bye to you all.

Everyone seemed to be gone home, so you turned your back and started walking. You felt a little tug on your sleeve and turned around.

You see Sugawara behind you. You immediately jump back from the sudden shock. "Oops, sorry for scaring you!" He said innocently.

"It's ok, what's up?" You mumbled. He had a nervous look on his face and scanned around the area. "Do you wanna get meat buns with me?" He said. So he likes meat buns, noted in brain.

"Sure, I don't mind, I have nothing better to do anyway." You spoke. He then smiled, and grabbed your sleeve, laughing and running. You ran with him, it seemed right.

You arrived at the meat bun shop, and was about to pay for it, but Sugawara stopped you right there. "Take it as a welcome gift." He smiled, putting his hand behind his neck.

Your cheeks were dusted a bit pink, but no one would know that since you wore a mask. "Thanks." You said to him as you left the shop.

You both sat down at a bench near a park, and started talking. You got to know him a bit more, and he did about you. Your conversation was in the majestic dark, with stars illuminating the sky.

"If it's ok, aren't you sad that Kageyama took your setter position?" You asked nervously. "Yeah I am a bit, but it's what is best for the team, so I'll just support on the side." He said, as he plastered a smile on his face.

You had a feeling that he was lying, but you didn't question it. "Sugawara, why did you let me sit with you at lunch?" You asked.

"I just had a feeling that you were a nice person, and I was right." He glanced at you, giving a somewhat real smile.

"But you don't even know what I look like, how do you know that I'll be nice?" You asked a bit loudly. "But it's personality that counts, right?" He said as he got up, making you do the same.

It's getting late, we should go home." You said. He agreed. "Bye Y/N chan, see you tomorrow!" He said. "Bye, see you soon." You said and you did a final wave, before leaping back home.

Who knew a human could be so nice.
