Chapter 10 - Retrieving Sasuke

Y/n pov

I was currently on my way to the Anbu headquarters when I was called to Tsunade. I teleported in front of the door and knocked. When I heard the "Come in" I walked in and bowed.

"You called Lady Tsunade?" I said. I had my Anbu outfit and mask on by the way.

I looked around the room to see Shikamaru, Kiba and Akamaru Naruto, Choji and Neji.

"Yes, I called you here because Sasuke Uchiha ran away, probably to Oroshimaro and I want you to look after the recovery team" Tsunade said.

"I understand, when are we leaving?" I asked. Shikamaru answered "In half an hour" I nodded and jumped out of the window towards the Anbu headquarters.

"Cat I want you to look after everything, I need to go on a mission. If something is broken until I'm back I'll improve our training schedule" I said. Cat nodded and I teleported to the gate.

"Hi Izumo and Kotetsu, I need my last-minute mission scroll" I said. "Ah hello Foxy, of course.. here it is" said Izumo. "Thanks"

After a while, the others appeared and Sakura made Naruto promise to bring Sasuke back and then we finally left.

We ran for a bid until we found the sound four and a box with Sasuke in it. We were trapped for a while by Jiboro and when we got out, Choji stayed to fight him and we went to the next.

We caught up to the other three and Shikamaru transformed into Jiboro but they saw through it. Then Naji stayed to fight Kidomaru and we took after the other two.

After a while were Kiba and Akamaru separated from us, as well as Sakon and Ukon.

Naruto managed to get Sasuke and he and I ran while Shikamaru stayed to fight Ayuyu.

Sasuke then was taken by Kimimaro and Naruto and I ran after him. Sasuke then came out of the coffin and went to Orochimaru alone, while Kimimaro stopped us.

I caught him in my shadow possession. "Naruto follow Sasuke, I'll deal with him!" I said.

"But-" he began but I cut him off "No but, he is your best friend and if you want to get him, go!" I said and he ran.

"Soo now that we're alone, I can finally have a good fight" I said and took my mask off. "Yes it seems, that you are a good fighter" Kimimaro said.

I threw Shuriken at him and he deflected them with his bones, his Kekkei Genkai. I copied his Kekkei Genkai and decided to use a Jutsu, that didn't use for a while.

'Bloody mist sword art: Bone mutilation' I thought. Kimimaro was able to dodge three out of ten.

'Blasting ice crystal' I made the Jutsu exactly like Haku except for the fact, that I used kunai and not senbon. I then swiftly cut him in half with my sword right as Gaara and Lee came.

"Oh hey guys, what are you doing here?" I asked nervously.

"We came to help but it seems like you didn't need it" Gaara said with a smirk. I walked toward him and put my head against his.

"He- Hey it's no time to get all lovey-dovey!" Lee yelled. "Don't worry Lee, I just need to check something" I said.

You see, thanks to my Kekkei Genkai I was able to communicate with the tailed beasts.

'Hello Y/n, it's been a while' Shukaku said.

'Yes it certainly is. If you want, then you can have some blood of mine later but I want you to let Gaara sleep tonight' I said.

'Okay fine' Shukaku answered.

"You'll sleep tonight" I said to him with a smile. "Lee please don't tell anyone, that it is me" I said and put my Anbu mask back on. We went back to Konoha and reported our failed mission.

After that, I went home and let Gaara stay the night. Shukaku always said, that my blood was special so I was able to get him to let Gaara sleep with it. Gaara didn't like it when I did that but I still did it from time to time.

"You know, that you don't have to do it right?" Gaara asked for probably the 10th time.

"Gaara, I see you as a little brother and as your big sister, I order you to do it and go to sleep! You look like the last time you slept was when I came two and a half years ago!"

"Okay okay, good night Y/n-nee" Gaara said. I smiled and walked out of the room.
