part 14- under the influence

let's gooo mochi not dying for 6 months!!!

I laid on my bed with my half empty beer bottle. corpse came over and sat at the end of the bed with me. I knew that the alcohol started kicking in when I brought up the next few topics of conversation. 

"I really love hanging out with you..." I said as coherently as I could. he giggled at my slurred words. he seemed to be unaffected by the small amount alcohol he had.

"I love hanging out with you too mochi." I was pretty sure he was just humouring me at this point so I put more emphasis on what I was saying.

"corpse im serious, like the past few hours have seriously brought me so much joy." I brought under a wave of sobriety after saying that to him. I had to really give my sentence good thought before continuing. 

"like I know we haven't known each other for very long but you are my world. I think I like you...like, a lot." I flopped back down on my bed after spilling my guts to him. he was quiet. too quiet for my liking so I decided to back pedal before I let it marinate more.

"or maybe its the alcohol...fuck if I know." he cleared his throat. I finally looked at him from my spot on my bed. he was grinning ear to ear. 

"do you mean that? like really, or are you drunk?" he asked me with a serious tone but a beautiful smile. 

"of course I mean it, I think the alcohol just makes it easier to say but yeah I think I like you a lot corpse." I left it at that after that was said we dropped the topic. 

I turned my monitor so that it faced the bed more and I turned on random music videos that came up on my auto-play. we kept talking fluidly and hoping onto random chains of thought. as the night approached again the reality hit me like a train. and I think corpse noticed it too.

"so where am I gonna sleep? also umm...i realize now that I never told you I like you too, but I really do. I really fucking do." 

"damn shawty...after you saying that...I won't last 😩" I said jokingly hugging him.
