Maybe in another lifetime

Last hug

    Dior and Harry did as Dumbledore told them. They heard someone coming. They immediately hid. It was Draco... Next to him was his aunt, Bellatrix. There were a few more death eaters around them. As they both pointed their wands towards the death eaters they saw Snape telling them to be quiet. Dior was confused. The boy she loved was now threatening Dumbledore even if he knew that that Dumbledore was one of the few people that could help Harry and Dior. Dior was lost. Everything was blurry. Dumbledore was talking to Draco. She didn't hear anything. It was like she started falling. The last thing she heard was Snape's voice. He killed Dumbledore.

Harry couldn't believe what happened. Snape ran out with the death eaters not realising that Dior was on the ground. He quickly followed Snape. Beatrice saw her daughter and immediately got her to the hospital wing. She was alright. But she still couldn't believe what happened.

As she was laying in her bed she looked at the sky than she looked at the ground. Dumbledore's dead body surrounded by every teacher and student.

Snape had now become the headmaster of Hogwarts. Dior was silent. She didn't talk to Draco and Snape. She had to do something. She decided that from now on it is her and her only. She will do anything to spare the lifes of her loved ones.

The year passed and the summer came. Dior knew she wasn't coming back to Hogwarts next year so she wanted to see Malfoy one last time.

,,Draco..'' Dior said. ,,I want to talk to you.'' She looked at him with her eyes full of tears. He couldn't resist. ,, If it is about what happened with Dumble-'' He didn't finish his sentence. ,,No. It is not about that. I wanted to talk to you about something else. I know we didn't talk much after what happened. It is not that i didn't want to... I couldn't. I am sorry. Next year will not be an ordinary Hogwarts year. There is a war coming Draco. If anything happens...Know that I love you. I wanted to tell you this...Maybe next year I won't have a chance.'' She couldn't hold her tears back. Draco ran towards her and hugged her tightly. She knew it was their last hug. She softly kissed him. ,,I love you too.'' This was the last sentence she heard him say.

One month passed since the summer started. Harry, Hermione and Ron were looking for the Horcruxes. Dior was on her path. Since the day she last talked to Draco she disappeared. Her parents didn't know where she was. Snape was scared for her life. What if she was dead. Dior was staying with Tonks. Even Lupin didn't know about her.

Dior was trying to figure out the meaning of the sign they saw on the letter. She was looking and looking but never found anything. She missed everyone terribly but since her disappearance no one died. She remembered the gryffindor necklace. She hoped that there was a clue in the necklace. She started making plans on how to get the necklace from Hogwarts without anyone seeing her.

Seventh year already was halfway through. That one month turned into more than one month. It was time for her to go back at Hogwarts.

April 20th

Dior was already in Hogwarts. No one knew she was there. Hogwarts was her home but the smell of the warm Hogwarts was now gone.

May 1st

Harry, Hermione and Ron were already there. They were the only people who knew about Dior being at Hogwarts

May 12th

Dior found the necklace. She tried everything but nothing was working. She saw something inside of the necklace. She couldn't take it out with magic so she broke the necklace. Inside of the necklace there was a note with her name.
