It's Kind Of A Funny Story (ranboo x reader)

Y/n POV

The beeping from my alarm wakes me up. I pick up my phone and i'm blinded by the bright light. I click snooze and decide to sleep for another 5 minutes, i'll just eat breakfast at school.

My alarm goes off again and I pick up my phone in anger and shut it up. Now I have to get up. I roll off of my bed and head to the bathroom. I do light makeup and brush my hair and teeth. I go into my room and pick out clothes for the day. A hoodie and mom jeans will do. I put them on and grab my backpack and phone and start heading for the door. Clay stops me at the door and says "You almost forgot your lunch" He smiles and hands me it and I quickly put it in my bag and thank him. I start my car and head off to school.

When I arrive, I park and run to my class because i'm late. I turn the corner and bump into someone. "Shit, i'm sorry" A deep voice says. I look across from me on the floor and say "No, it's my fault I shouldn't be running." He gets up and puts his hand out. I take it and wow he is tall. I regain my balance and look into his greyish eyes. They're so beautiful. Oh wait class.

"I'm sorry but I have to get to class! I'll see you around!" He waves me goodbye and we both go our seperate ways.

I arrive in my algebra class and my teacher looks at me upset. "Late again Miss y/n." I sit down in my seat, "Yes! I'm sorry, my brother drives me and he woke up late." I say lying. My teacher brushes it off and continues the lession.

After 30 minutes, she gets a phone call and tells me I need to go to the office. ooOohs go around the class room and the teacher ignores them. I walk out of the class and start heading to the office. I wonder what I did wrong. Shaking, I open the office door and i'm greeted by the same boy I bumped into and the principal.

"Miss Y/n, you will be showing Mister Ranboo around the school today! It is his first day here and he has almost all of the same classes as you." I look at him and say "Haha, we meet again." We start walking out of the office and were surrounded by awkward silence. I break it and say "Can I see your schedule?" He hands me it and I say "Oh wow, we do have all of the same classes. But your in volleyball PE and i'm in cheer PE." He smiles and looks at me saying "Oh, so you're a cheerleader?" I giggle and say "Well at least i'm not one of the bitchy ones." We laugh and I show him around the school. The akward silence dissapears and we have the best time.

"Hey, wanna skip school?" He asks, I like his thinking. I agree and we jump over the gate and run to my car. "So, where do you wanna go?" I say with the adrenaline rush going through me. "Want to go to a gas station and get food and then hang at a park? I have my car here though so i'll meet you at the gas station?" I agree and he gets out and runs to his car.

I meet him at the gas station and we both reach for the white monster. He giggles and says "White monsters are my favorite." I smile and say "Me too!" We grab chips and we checkout. I take out my credit card but Ranboo says "No it's ok I can pay." I look at him upset and say "No I feel bad." He ignores it and hands the cashier his card. I thank him and we both get in our cars and I tell him which park to meet at.

We both arrive and we meet on a bench. We set our stuff down and Ranboo says "This is the most fun i've had in a while. I thought moving schools was going to be bad, but it's actually a lot of fun." I smile at his words and say "Me too, my brother is a little over protective and usually doesn't let me go out." Ranboo smiles and we open our monsters and eat the chips. We talk about our lives and where Ranboo used to live and how it was there.

I look at the time, 3:00 pm. "Oh, school is out now. I should probably head home." Ranboo sighs and says "Yeah, me too. What's your number? Maybe we can facetime tonight?" I smile and give him my number. We say our goodbyes and go our seperate ways.

When I arrive home, i'm greeted by Clay who's sitting on the couch watching movies. I say a quick hi and head into my room to stream. I click go live and put the starting soon screen on. Chat fills up:

I turn off the starting soon screen and switch to webcam. "Hi everyone!", i say while waving "How is everyones day going to far?" Chat fills up with goods and I smile. "I'm glad everyone's having a good day." I look at the viewer count and see my regular 10,000 viewers are here. I open up minecraft and log onto hypixel. I win three rounds of bedwars and lose two, and it's already 6:00 pm. I decide to end stream and say goodbye to chat. I see my brother, Dream aka Clay is streaming so I decide to raid him.

I sit up from my chair and lay down on my bed. Thank god it's friday.

My phone starts buzzing and I see it's Ranboo. I pick up right away and he says "Y/n, are you the streamer Mercury?" I giggle and say "Yeah, why?" He pauses and smiles "Well i'm the streamer Ranboo." Oh shit, I feel so stupid. Ranboo's name and Ranboo the streamer. I start talking "I feel so stupid, your name and stuff, but we should stream together. Wanna come over to my house tomorrow?" He smiles and says "Yeah, i'll bring my mask and glasses!" I giggle and we continue on the conversation.

It's already 11 pm and I tell Ranboo i'm going to sleep. He begs for me not to end so I prop my phone up on my nightstand and drift off to sleep "Good night beautiful." Ranboo says.
