As Sonic and Midoriya clash, shockwaves are felt throughout the room, threatening to destroy the time chamber itself, Midoriya had finally unlocked Super Saiyan 5 and was doing his best to keep up with Sonic's Super Saiyan Blue form, and what Sonic said was right, he had a better energy and stamina pool, resulting in his ki attacks overpowering his, but his physical strength did surpass Sonic's, but not by much, the two friends' fists collide, lightning shooting out in all directions, scorching the ground, "Come on, you got more in you, i can tell! Don't hold back Deku!!!" Sonic exclaims, punching Midoriya in the face, causing him to fly a few meters back, Midoriya grunts in frustration before charging up, going to his 100%, Sonic following suite, but in reality, Sonic was at the highest he could go at 50% without breaking the room, the two fly away from each other, a good 100 or so kilometers away before flying back at each other, breaking the sound barrier on the way.
As their fists collide, the shockwave knocks Midoriya out of his Super saiyan 5 form, with Sonic barely holding his own, "Woah...ok...that...was intense" Midoriya says in between breaths, lying on his back, Sonic lands back on the ground before sitting down, reverting to his base form, "Yeah..I..haven't gotten..that serious..in a long time.." Sonic says before grabbing a couple of senzu's out of the satchel on his belt before throwing one to Midoriya who eats it without hesitation, Sonic follows suite, and a few seconds later, they were already healed, but planned on going for one more round of meditation, "So, what do you think everyone's been doing while we've been gone?" Sonic asks his friend, Midoriya turns to him, "I'm..not actually sure, maybe they're chilling in the common room or something" Midoriya says, lying on his bed.
Sonic goes and sits on the side of his, "Well, we could end early, but that's up to you" Sonic says, Midoriya shoots up before shaking his head rapidly, "No no no! I don't want to end this early!" Midoriya says, Sonic tilts his head in confusion, "Why not? We could do the meditation now and go out right after, there isn't anything stopping us" Sonic says, Midoriya crosses his arms, "You are right, but we may as well do something right?" Midoriya says, Sonic nods in agreement, and after a bit of talking, they resort to a small workout, and what they mean by small, they mean doing a few million finger push ups, sit ups, and a planetary run, which they completed with little problem, by the time they make it back to the room, it was almost time to leave, so they start to meditate to increase their ki pool, but only by a tiny bit, little did they know of the ensuing mass of excitement outside in the dorms.

Class 1-A had invited their teachers, minus All Might because of obvious reasons, along with Eri and the Big 3, who were excited to see Midoriya again, "So, when are they coming out? Do you know? Do you?" Nejire asks, Yaoyorozu sweat drops before answering, "No, but they should be out at some point today, no doubt about it" she says, they were making last minute preparations for when Sonic and Midoriya returned, after a few minutes, everything was near perfect, now all that was left to do was wait for Sonic and Midoriya to leave the time chamber.

Sonic and Midoriya had finished their training and were just packing up anything they brought with them, "Ok, do you have everything? Cause we're not coming back" Sonic says, putting his hand on the doorknob to the exit of the room, "I have everything, don't worry" Midoriya says, Sonic smirks, "Then let's go" Sonic says, pushing the door open, although Midoriya hadn't changed in height or age, he had gained a significant amount of muscle mass while they were in the time chamber, giving him a well toned physique, when they enter Midoriya's room, it looks untouched, earning a sigh from Midoriya, "I wonder what everyone's doing" Sonic asks, after Midoriya puts his things down and gets into more appropriate clothing, they leave his dorm and head for the elevator, having a casual conversation, unaware of their friends plan.
