Ferrari Family POV:
(A couple hours before the call)

Lorenzo just got off of a call with another Mafia, and he could potentially get himself a deal. Obviously it was an amazing deal but, he just didn't really have the energy anymore.

He's never had the same determination and energy since his ex-wife left with their child. He's been trying to fight, trying to be strong, trying to be someone to look up to. Not only for his sons but for his Bambina/ Bambino (baby) that's out there somewhere in the world. All alone.

He hasn't been in the right mind space for a while now. Well, ever since that happened.

That was 17 years ago

*Flashback*

It's been almost a month since his wife has gone missing with lorenzos unborn child. He was devastated, but mostly confused. Why? Why did this have to happen? What did he do wrong? Will he ever be happy again? Will they ever find her? He wanted to be happy, to stay strong for his sons but he couldn't. He was getting tired. He just wished they would find Aurora and bring her and the baby home. Safe and sound.

Maybe that'll be soon. Maybe.

But, today he couldn't really believe that. Today was the exact day that Aurora had left with his baby. He wondered what they looked like now, boy or girl, I'm sure they were beautiful. If only he could see them.

*Flashback over*

*knock Knock*

"Come in" he said clearing his throat using his usual stoic voice.

The door slowly creaked open to reveal one of the Ferrari Family's many maids.

"Sir. It's time for dinner now."

"Alright I'll be there in a minute. Thank you."

Lorenzo learned a long time ago from his mother to be respectful to everyone. He's done this his whole life.

"No problem sir."

With that the maid left, leaving Lorenzo in his own thoughts.

One day at a time.

Lorenzos POV:

"Sorry I'm late kids, I just got off a call from the German Mafia." I said, putting my phone down and sitting to eat.

"It's fine Father. Did you get the deal?" Giovanni asked picking at his food.

"I don't know yet. But i have a good feeling." I gave a small smile just to reassure my kids.

They often worry about me, but they shouldn't be, I'm fine, I worry about them the most. Considering everything that happened.

Dinner went on quiet, with a few conversations here and there.

End of dinner~

*ring ring*

The sound of my phone ringing interrupted my conversation.
