That was Euan's last words before he hung up the call. I brew my morning coffee as I roam around the house, sweeping every corner to make sure that I'll leave our house clean. We'll be coming home to Monaco tonight for the annual family dinner and I guess we'll be staying for a few days there to spend time with our siblings, and our children of course. I was busy wrapping my gifts for our children when I heard the toaster rang. Breakfast is ready. I was eating with our dogs, Coco and Cookie when Euan sent a message.

And with that, I didn't bother to send a reply. I prepared sandwiches for him and I took a quick shower and loaded our luggages in the car hoping that Euan wouldn't mind me running late. Coco and Cookie are seated in the back as I sang a happy song on my way to the airport. I am excited to bond with the family, Euan and I have been busy for the few months that we didn't have time to visit anyone.
After 30 mins, I am here searching for him carrying our luggages, Cookie and Coco in their carrier and tons of paper bags.

I heard as I saw him walking towards me. He looked exhausted, but he was grinning from ear to ear. We are walking towards our private plane with Coco and Cooking barking, feeling the adrenaline of mommy and daddy.
As we were on our way, I gave him the sandwiches for him to eat, and let him sleep for the rest of the flight.
It was windy. I closed my eyes as I felt the familiar warmth of the city where I spent my childhood. I was ecstatic as I saw a familiar car that used to drive me around Monte Carlo. We were seated at the back of the car, Euan who is fast asleep, with Cookie on his lap, and Coco sleeping in my arms. I took a snap of our little family and sent it to Mamita as a sign that we are finally coming home.
As the gates were opened, I can already hear the chaos of my siblings, I can hear the bickering, the laughters and I can also see the changes here in the mansion. I wake Euan up saying that we are home already. We got out of the car and let Coco and Cookie run freely in the garden. Suppressing my tears from falling I looked back and saw my children waiting for us. I hugged them one by one as Euan patted their backs. I ran to Mamita and gave her the tightest hug.
𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙟𝙖. She muttered as she hugged me back.
Finally. Finally I am home.
