It was around 6:00 she guessed when she woke up because she woke up to the sight of a beautiful skylight. Red faded into orange and the Orange faded into purple. She faintly heard speaking near her but she heard them starting to run towards her. She immediately closed her eyes out of fear of what she would see.
"Come over and help Andrew!" She heard a deep voice say, "You too Mandy, she might be scared of us."
Finally she heard the running stop. She heard shuffling which meant that they were looking through her box. She opened her eyes and sat up quickly getting ready to protect herself from the new strangers. A girl with dark chocolate hair poked her head across the top of the box and she looked at her with sympathetic green eyes and pursed red lips.
"Hey, hey, hey, we aren't going to hurt you," said a girl and she looked at the other box, "Amaeliee. Nice name. I'm Mandy." Mandy held out her hand and she, now known as Amaeliee, poked her hand out and reached out for Mandy's. Mandy shook it then she helped pull Amaeliee out of her confinement. Being as sore as she was, Amaeliee stumbled out of her box to fall into the hands of another welcoming stranger.
"Well hello," a deep voice said, "You either must be really sore or really drunk, which, in guessing by your ride, you're sore."
Amaeliee looked up at the new stranger to meet the most beautiful face of a guy she has ever met. He had long brown hair that was tousled around his hair and his eyes were strikingly green and blue. He was just a little taller than her and she could feel his muscular arms around her. He set her down and her feet felt weird as she made contact with the grainy sand. Amaeliee wobbled a bit trying to regain her balance after being cramped up in her box.
"My name is Wesley," the beautiful stranger said, " Wesley Orion."
"Do you know how you got here? Do you remember anything at all?" Mandy asked.
Amaeliee was startled by the question not because she was starting at Wesley Orion, but because she could not remember anything at all. She didn't even remember her name until they told her.
"Well," She said in a hoarse voice, "All I remember was waking up in the middle of the ocean in a box and just sailing across it."
"Well, it's a start." mumbled the last person in the welcoming committee which she assumed was Andrew. He had short blonde hair and small brown eyes. "We should get her into town, it's getting dark."
"Yeah, I agree. She can stay at my place for now until we find one for her." said Mandy. She took Amaeliee's arm and helped her walk up the sandy hill. "You're going to love it here on Ogygia."
