As her white sandals touched the pavement, Tazara closed her car door, immediately looking at her reflection through the door. She wore a royal blue mandarin shirt paired along with lengthy white flared pants. Double tapping the button on the clicker to lock her car doors, Tazara turned towards the large building. As she walked inside the building, she looked around for familiar objects in the scenery to find her classroom. Tazara strolled down the brightly lit hallway, walked up a set of stairs, and finally reached her destination. After unlocking the classroom door, the scent of lavender and vanilla invaded her nostrils. Her eyes observed the large room, paintings and drawings personally created by her filled the walls, along with art created by some of her favorite artists.

"Good Morning, Ms. Harris. It's good to know you located your classroom successfully. I saw you strolling through the halls searching." Tazara eyes wandered toward the man leaning the right side of his body against the door frame. Mr. Thompson was one of the leaders during the orientation for the upcoming teachers during the last few weeks of the summer. During the orientation, Tazara observed the irksome behavior radiated from him the entire time; a show off, a man who believed he held a higher position of power than the new teachers only because he worked at the school for a longer amount of time. Tazara made a mental note to stay away from him, if she needed anything she would ask anyone besides him. However, she knew she'd have to be professional, especially when this was her first year which also meant first impression.

"Thank you, Mr. Thompson. Good Morning to you as well." Tazara forced her lips to curve into a tight smile. She glanced at the screen of her laptop, using the touchpad to click on the Spotify app to turn on the playlist she created to play during her classroom time. Tazara watched as Mr. Thompson body walk further into the classroom. Similar to what Tazara did when she first entered the room, Mr. Thompson inspected the neat organization of the large classroom. "It looks very different in here; clean even. Our last instructor claimed the room was too big to properly maintain."

Tazara grimaced at his words. When she arrived to the classroom for the first time, she was appalled by the appearance: chairs were scattered everywhere, the walls were peeled, and dust was everywhere. Tazara spent a total of two weeks to remodel the classroom; she knew art can get messy, but the previous filthy classroom was completely unacceptable.

"Well, good luck on your first day. Don't let the students run you." He smirked as he tapped the door frame before making his exit. Tazara replied to his statement with a brief you too. Pressing play on her playlist, Steve Lacy's 2017 jam Some, could be heard throughout the room. Tazara leaned back in her rolling chair while looking at the digital clock located on the table. She had an hour to relax her mind and prepare herself for the first class.

"Did you really just order two different meals for yourself, Jordyn?" Kiara asked while gawking at Jordyn who was putting forks in both of her trays of food. Jordyn snorted, "I'm feeding for two, girl. You don't wanna start with me." Jordyn laughed Kiara's comment off, taking turns to shove food from both plates into her mouth. All four girls: Tazara, Kendy, Jordyn, and Kiara were invited to Tommy's to eat a late lunch. Jordyn arrived before the other girls which meant she made sure to order for herself this time. She did not hesitate to order her a cheeseburger meal with fries and a large bowl of fruit.
