1936, Somewhere in Germany~

"Aidoneus, are you sure you want to do this?", the man with the golden mask questioned.

Aidoneus, a man with dishevelled brown hair, nodded. He was wearing a black suit, in the inside of which, was his wand, safely concealed from the eyes of the unsuspecting Muggles.

Aidoneus walked out of the warehouse, as the man with the golden mask watched him intently.

"Interesting," he muttered to himself, "Very interesting."

Aidoneus, meanwhile, was walking down the cobbled street, towards a host of Nazi officials. He fingered the silver cross around his neck, which glinted in the sunlight.

"Excuse me, where can I find Julian Krüger, gentlemen?", Aidoneus asked, confidently, yet politely.

The men cast a glance at the silver cross and then pointed down the street, towards a tavern. He entered the tavern, scanning the faces which had turned to look at him.

"Johnathan, my dear friend!", a man greeted him, shooting him a look as if to say 'play along'. The man rose from his table, slapping the other's back. This man was known as Julian Krüger. He was a short fellow, an Englishman with Germanic roots.

The two men shared a look. Julian looked at the table to the far right. There, half-hidden in the shadows, stood a blond-bartender.

"Anna-Marie.", Julian called out to the her and he was beside them in a second. Stealthily, she slipped them a key. Julian asked her to bring some drinks to the private room upstairs.

"Be there in a minute.", she replied with a curt nod, her expression changing to one of disgust as a drunkard slapped her backside. With a scowl, she excused herself.

Julian discreetly looked around to see if anyone was looking at them Nobody was. He let out a breath, walking across the tavern. Aidoneus followed. The two men climbed up the stairs and Aidoneus unlocked the door, as Julian checked the stairwell for any movement.

"Clear.", he said as the two men slipped into the room silently, closing the door behind them.

"Good evening, gentlemen.", said the deep voice of a man, who was seated at a table in front of the two men. They shared a look before greeting the third man.

"Good evening, sir.", they greeted in unison as the third man gestured them to sit.

The three men waited patiently as three other figures joined them in the room: a silver-haired man, a tall and solemn gentleman, and finally, Anna-Marie.

There were six people at the table. The leader, the one who arrived first, was called Alexius Beckham. He was a tall man, clad in a grey suit, with short, dark hair.

"I hope you all have news to share.", he said, flicking his hand. The tea was poured into the cups.

"Let's start with Balthazar, shall we?", he asked, gesturing to the tall, solemn gentleman, who nodded.

"Adolf Hitler, the Nazi general, is under the Imperius curse. All the sources have confirmed.", the man, Balthazar, informed.

"Hmm. Thank you, Balthazar. Elijah?", Alexius asked the silver-haired man.

"The Nazis are coming to full power. I fear it will not be long until he attacks. Poland is an easy target. Whispers of a possible attack next week are running around Europe. The Polish Ministry of Magic has turned hostile. They say we mustn't interfere with them.", Elijah said.

"No, he will wait, but you're right about Poland. Send Escrow and Hemmings, undercover, to Poland. As a couple.", Alexius said.

"Yes, sir.", Elijah said, as Alexius moved on from him to Anna-Marie, whose real name was Amelié St Clarke.

"I overheard a few officers talking about Mussolini. He might be getting involved in the war. A few wizards dropped by, his followers. They spoke of Poland, too.", Amelié informed.

"Patrick?", Alexius asked 'Julian', who was calmly sipping his tea.

"Sir, the German Ministry of Magic is on the edge. It won't be long. They will certainly not last, the attackers are on both fronts.", Patrick replied.

"How much of this information can you confirm, Aidoneus?", Alexius asked.

"The Nazi general, Hitler, is very much under the influence of the Imperius curse. His plan is good, not perfect nonetheless. He will orchestrate attacks on both fronts, as Patrick stated. He will wait before the attack. A long wait. As for Mussolini, he might not be under the influence of the Imeprius curse. We must focus on Poland for now.", Aidoneus informed.

Everyone at the table remained quiet, waiting for him to speak again, which he did.

"The German Ministry of Magic is going to fall. We can stay here and fight, outnumbered, or we can infiltrate his followers.", Aidoneus said.

"He is a very powerful wizard. He will know. We need an extremely powerful wizard to do that. Someone to match his power.", Alexius replied.

"I volunteer to do that. You forget my bloodline, Alexius.", Aidoneus said, his eyes flickering to Alexius.

Amelié gasped and Patrick shook his head, but Alexius remained calm.

"Are you sure about that, Aidoneus? You know that that it is exceptionally risky.", Alexius asked.

"I know what I'm getting myself into, Alexius. As for the other thing, I already did it.", Aidoneus said, his gaze fixed on the table.

The others didn't understand but Alexius could almost hear Aidoneus's heart shatter. If Aidoneus was willing to risk his life, then Alexius would would also fight back- for the ones who might never know their sacrifice and for the ones who wouldn't want it.

"Elijah?", Alexius asked.

"Yes?", he answered.

"Alert the rest of the Order. We have work to do."

Hey guys! Sorry if there are any spelling errors, my keyboard is malfunctioning.

This is the prologue of the story. All the characters are connected, in a different way. You'll understand it later. I'm trying to build suspense so please bear with me.

So, here's the prologue.

Qotd: If your life was a tv show, what genre would it be?

I guess mine would be drama. Just endless drama. I live in a family of seven. There is my grandad with anger issues, my grandma with her emotional blackmail, my dad with anger issues, my mom, my sister, my sick great aunt, and me.

Ciao, fellow Potterheads!
