It turns out that the twins decided that it would be a good idea, to put both their names down on each of the papers that they dropped into the goblet. So when they were announced to be the Hogwarts competitors, everyone was shocked to say the less.
It took Rose three weeks to forgive the twins, they would always try to apologize to her every chance they get. But she was determined to make them suffer for a little while just to be petty. Everyone could tell that the girl was hitting the news hard since she didn't eat or slept much for the last three weeks, but Rose would like to think it was the stress of getting homework done on time and studying. Not worrying about the two boys.
November is around the corner and that's when the first task is happening and all the students are gossipping about what the first task may be. Rose is currently in the library going over notes and trying to finish homework when out of nowhere two redheads pop in front of her startling the poor witch. She glares at the twins while they both grin at her. "What are you guys doing here? Aren't you like banned from stepping foot here in the library?" The boys let out a chuckle and sat themselves down in front of her.
"Yes so now be quiet. We need your help for the first task..", "what Fred here is trying to say is that you are very good at spells and all that so, we were wondering if you could teach us?" George finishes Fred's sentence. Rose lets herself ponder over the question, and the twins fiddle with their hands anxiously waiting for the girl to answer them.
"Fine! Because I don't want to see you guys get hurt." She decided that right then and there that she had forgiven them. They both shout with glee and bump fists with each other. "Fred and George Weasley! Out now!" The old lady that runs the library yells and the twins grin even wider before making a run for the doors while she chases them out.
The brunette witch shakes her head and laughs as they certainly had made a racket when they left the library. Rose turns her focus back on her studies and continued on her paper before her two best friends had so rudely interrupted her. The witch decide that once she was done doing her thing that she will go and have a look around the library to see if there are any useful books she could use to help the twins with the first task, even though the trio haven't got a clue what the first task is.
Half an hour later Rose did what she needed to do, so she then started browsing the spell books and grabbed a few that had caught the girl's eye. She then wrote a long list of spells that would be useful for the twins. By the time she had finished writing the list of spells, it was already time for dinner. Rose puts away the books and grabbed her things, and headed out of the library.
She quickly runs to the Gryffindor tower to put all her things in her dorm room so she could go have dinner. It took the witch ten minutes to get to the great hall and man was the brunette hungry. She pushes open the doors and walked in and took her usual seat next to the twins and piled her plate with food.
"Okay, so I have found a few spells we can work on," Rose says to the boys. "Thanks, Rosie you are the best!" George hugs her tightly and she lets out a small giggle and tries to push him away so she could eat her dinner in peace.
"Just because you two are my best friends doesn't mean I'm going to go all easy on you guys okay?" Both of the twins nodded and mock saluted her. She then turns to Hermione who is sitting in front of her on the opposite of the table squashed between Ron and Harry. "Hey, Hermione how's Krum?" Rose gives her a knowing grin. "Rosie if you say one more thing about Viktor I'll hex you!" She whispers shouts at her as she looks at the boys and Ginny making sure they didn't hear what Rose had said.
Too bad two other boys did, "Is it true then? Do you fancy Krum?" Ron's right-hand turns pale as he grips the fork tightly. Hermione lets out a low groan while Rose smirks at her. It is so easy to get Hermione all riled up, plus it is funny when she is angry. "No Ron I don't. He's just a friend is all." Ron rolls his eyes and continues to stuff his face with food "Whatever." Rose makes eye contact with Harry who grins at her and also gives her a knowing wink.

A week goes by and the trio has been training hard. Every day after classes they would go over and practice all these different spells. Most of the spells that they have been practicing, they have known since year one. They also practice difficult spells that neither of them learned yet and Rose was surprised that the twins are doing well.
She had been busy helping the boys and doing homework that the witch hasn't had any time to write a letter to Charlie, although she hasn't received a letter from him for a while. "Rosie, can we please take a break?" The said girl broke out of her thought about Charlie when Fred whines like the little girl that he is.
"Do you boys want to die or seriously get hurt?" They didn't say anything. "Yea that's what I thought boys. Now practice a few more times and then we can call it a day." They both got back into it. The spell that they are doing is one that they have been taught through the years. Rose had got them to do the Wingardium Leviosa on any objects they could find around the common room.
"Hey, George!" George turns to look at Fred who's pointing his wand at him. "Wingardium Leviosa!" Fred shouts and George floats up in the air, Fred laughs as George glares down at him. "Fred Weasley put him down now!"
Fred puts him down, just not gently. George falls onto the floor with a thud and Rose rushes over to him and he lets out a loud groan. "Fred you bloody idiot! You could have hurt him. Lucky for you he's fine and just winded." George slowly sits up and takes in deep breaths.
"Are you okay George?" He looks up at Fred and stares right into his eyes. "I'm going to kill you!" He yells and jumps off the ground and chases Fred around the place. "George! Fred! Stop it!" It was no use, they ignored Rose and continue to run, throw things and yell at each other.
Fred was running towards the girl and she didn't think twice and tackled him to the ground and George trips over the two of them landing on top of them. "Now will you stop and listen?" She breathes heavily as George crushes her body with his and it also doesn't help that she is also on Fred as well, being squished between both of them.
"Yes." They both mumble. Rose then shoves George off of her and got off Fred. "Right clean up the mess you two have made and I'll meet you outside the great hall for dinner." The twins got up and cleaned whatever mess they made while fighting as she leaves the common room.
Rose makes it to the entrance of the great hall and waited patiently for the boys and it didn't take long when she hears them before they even came into her eyesight. "Right let's head in boys I'm starving." Both of them sling their arms over Rose's shoulders and together the trio enters the great hall.
