I was wandering through the dark parts of town, making my way to a meeting point me and a couple new 'friends' decided to meet up at.
They weren't my friends. They were older, stupid army men who probably make cock jokes 24/7. I somewhat regret accepting to meet with them, but they're the only ones around who were free to take the job. I haven't told them who I want dead yet.. I hope it doesn't change their minds.
"Well, well, well.. Are you the one who'll be paying us?" I heard a voice boom from behind me, a couple chuckles coming from all around.
"If you get the job done, Captain..," I spun around on my heel to face the man, "I'll give you all the money you want."
"Who are we going for, anyways?" A man who wore circular goggles and happened to be slightly taller then the others revealed himself behind the captain.
"Let her speak, Steve."
"Alright.. so.. The kids name is Pico. Now he's got himself a sweet little girlfriend. I can't decide if I want him or her gone." I cross my arms, leaning against the nearest wall.
Al the guys exchanged looks of worry, which confused me. Don't tell me they're scared of Pico?
"What's with the looks..?" I ask nervously.
"Uhm.. Cap'n has one rule.. and that's to never harm Pico in any way.." Steve responded, to which Captain nodded.
"You won't even kill his girlfriend?!" I pleaded.
"If it's just some bitch he doesn't really care about.. Then sure! But if he actually loves her, I won't." Captain gave me the worst death glare I ever gotten from someone.. and that says a lot!
"Oh.. Pico doesn't care about her at all! He's just dating her because he got tired of being made fun of for being single, ya know?" If I wasn't such a damn good liar I wouldn't be here right now.
"I'll send one of my men to spy on the two.. I need proof that their relationship would end up being temporary."
"Oh, no need for that! I can do that myself if you'd like~"
"Hm.. Well, alright. I want reports every couple hours, capeesh?" The Tankmen started falling back into the shadows, leaving me to devise a wicked plan.
