Separate ways

They all ran outside the Ultra like fish escaping from sharks. Alissa came with them to figure out what just happened in the Ultra.
"Kate! you and Liam go that way, Alissa and I will go the other way" said Dyand referring to the sides of Liam's coffee shop.
They ran and ran until they finally came across the forest so they went deep into it, as they ran they heard animals all over the forest making noises: birds chirping load and craws caw. Bears were growling with anger and dears ran all over the forest stepping over everything in their way. The forest was disrupted by the power in the pearl. The boys and girls met at a weird huge stone with moss and 4 strange symbols on it, it seemed like some kind of ancient language, , they climbed it and lied down on its top so that the soldiers could not see them.
"are they gone?" asked Alissa in fear." I don't think so; I still hear footsteps" replied Kate
"get down from there, I know where you're hiding" said Lola in a confident way.
They stayed down in case she was lying just to lure them out but then she screamed: "get the hell down from the stone you pricks, or ill have you dragged down by force"
They stood up slowly consumed by fear. Dyand tried to redo what happened in the ultra but he felt empty, in his mind he thought it's all over.
They slowly approached Lola with their hands on their heads. "good good, now hand over the pearl Dyand" said Lola. As Dyand picked up the white pearl it started shining very bright. Lola looked at it with amusement, in all her life she's never seen the pearl do that ever. The light got brighter and brighter. Dyand started walking backward till he hit the side of the stone and the pearl started getting warm until it become so hot Dyand couldn't grab it anymore. The pearl spun with great speed, then it levitated up slowly above the stone and locked itself in midair. Lola knew that Dyand had to be the Chrono. "behind you is the stone of time, it holds the solution to our enigma, at least that's what we think." Said Lola.
Dyand looked behind him and saw the symbols on the stone and all of a sudden it seemed as if he knew that language. His hand moved as if on its own and touched the 4 symbols in an order he never thought of. Suddenly the pearl flew upwards super-fast and never appeared again. A beam of golden light came from the sky where the pearl went and hit the center of the stone. Dyand climbed the stone quickly and Kate followed. They looked at the center only to find a hole. The hole seemed bottomless.
Dyand looked down at Lola from where he stood and told her "there's a massive hole here" Lola told him "do not approach that hole or you will be lost forever do you understand" so Dyand stepped back but then an image of his mother appeared in front of him "mother??" said Dyand surprised. "help me Dyand. I need you now please." Said the image as she was dragged to the hole, Dyand, without any thinking, jumped in the hole but Kate caught him at the last moment. Unfortunately, Dyand was already above the hole, Kate was unable to pull him back but his weight pulled them both into the hole "nooooo!! help us!!" screamed Kate but the hole seemed to shrink until it was gone.
Dyand and Kate finally hit a pool of water. The water looked so pure and it shone bright cyan, to them it looked like the water from heaven. They didn't want to get out but the water started turning black slowly so they swam with all their power "we need to get out of the water nowww!!!" screamed Dyand. The water got darker and images started appearing in it. Fear consumed them both, they wanted to reach the end of the water but there was only more water. They lost all hope.


"guards please escort these 2 out of the city, they broke our law, they disrespected our cause, by sneaking on the enigmos they insinuated that we aren't trustworthy. If they believe they can solve this their selves, then they shall do it on their own" ordered Lola.
Liam and Alissa resisted but couldn't escape from the guards. Liam and Alissa were taken to a carriage and driven out of the city. Kate and Dyand sat in a pit, surrounded by ghosts, their screams could almost wreck the barrier separating the timeless realm and the mortal one.
