"I see. So, this is your account." He tried to check their faces side by side. "You do look like her, but I am still not 100% convinced."

"I can't do anything if you don't trust me... This is the truth! This is MY account!" She insisted.
"Ah- not even your voice matches to hers..."

Anaïs cleared her throat, "Mm... Hmm!"
"...Hey berries~" she changed her voice and made it sound like the one when she'd do steaming. His eyes gleamed as he heard her voice.

"So, you're actually her!" He gasped.

He got up and said, "I think you should wash up a little. You're not in a good state at all!" He suggested.
She sniffed herself and felt like puking. 'Ew... Why didn't I notice this before?! I even wore his clothes without bathing!'
Her eyes looked at him and felt sorry.

"You haven't told me your name yet-"
"Liam."

"Tsk. tsk." She looked at his face and felt subconsciously annoyed.

"Do you have something to say?" He asked.
"Tsk! You're not even handsome!" She pouted. "At times like this, the main heroine of the movie usually gets a handsome and charming man to save her!"

"W-what?"

"Nothing!!" She yelled as she ran into the bathroom.

After some time, someone knocked at the door and Liam walked towards it.
"Who is it?" Asked Liam.

"..."

"I'm asking again, who is it?"
There was no response again. A loud thud was heard and someone shouted, "Dane! Over here!"

The person outside hurried away to the direction where the voice came from.

Liam's eyes had totally given up.
'I am seriously never checking in to this hotel again... This has horrible security! First this girl and now random people just knock at the door!' he facepalmed.

'Although the first guest was uninvited, it's not that I hate her-' he looked at Anaïs as she slept on the bed peacefully. "Hah- so, should I let her take over my bed?"

*******

Liam yawned as he opened his eyes. He immediately noticed that Anaïs wasn't on the bed sleeping. He walked around and checked the other rooms as well, but she was nowhere...

He felt a little dejected and shaked his head in disappointment. ,"Ah-"

Despite being the commotion-maker, Cedric was, in fact, happier than ever. His eyes had a different kind of spark and charisma. He had already predicted Anaïs wouldn't be coming to office as she had hid herself last night.
He smiled as he walked in. Everyone's eyes were left open in shock.
'Is that really him?'
'Has he been possessed or something?'
'I have never seen him smile like that before!'
'Something must've happened for him to be this happy!'

The office was filled with whispers and rumors and gossips. Cedric didn't bother to shut them up, but another man who was just behind him silenced them. "Get back to your work!" Yelled the man with brown hair and piercings in his left ear.

Cedric kept his hands inside his pocket and turned his head slightly. "Forget it, don't bother..."

"What do you mean?"

Both of them enterred his office room and the other guy asked, "what's wrong with you today? You're seriously creeping me out!"

He continued to check the papers and ignored his question. "Tsk."

"Since you aren't responding, I'm assuming you don't want to talk about it." He glanced at him. "The elections are coming up. Have you decided whom you're supporting for their campaign?" He diverted the topic.

"The right-wing candidate is Ms Giselle Leolla from Liberal Reform Party..." He kept the file on the table. It had all the information about her. "... The left-wing candidate is Mr Arthur Miles. Currently, he is mass hated by majority of the people, they say that he is racist and believes in white supremacy."

Cedric looked at their portfolio as if they had applied for a job interview.

"They need your support financially and since the company is at it's best state, it won't be any problem in donating a few million dollars, but..." His eyebrows frowned slightly. "... Does she really have the potential to win the elections? Even though they are showing mass hate towards him, there are still lot's of people who will vote for him; the old racists who still believe in racism."

The man listened carefully to him and paid attention to his every words.
"Even though her ideologies match to the current generation, she is still a 'woman' after all. There are plenty of men who would reject her as a leader just by that fact."

"..."

"Although the youngsters really do know who is a good leader and who isn't, they still don't really interest themselves in voting and elections-"

"You're right... That's-"

"We can't be sure as to whom we should place our bet on. What do you say, Jevonne?"

Jevonne hummed as he put his thoughts and pieces of information together. "Before I heard you, I was sure I'd bet on Ms Giselle, but now... I don't know anymore."

As they continued to discuss, a light pounding on the door was heard. They turned to look at it and saw a faint silhouette of a woman.
"Well, aren't you lucky? You have woman everywhere you go!" Jevonne teased and then opened it.

Cedric raised his head to talk properly and have a better conversation. His eyes shaked as he wasn't able to comprehend the situation.

"I did the proofreading for this document and these were some of the mistakes which needs to be corrected." She handed it over to him.
Cedric didn't know how to react. His jaw dropped as his prediction was incorrect...
'Cedric?'
'What happened?'
'Is something wrong?'
'Uh- hey?'

Cedric got up from his chair and blacked her way. "Anaïs, what are you doing here?" Asked Cedric with his unwavering eyes.
Anaïs grinned and replied, "sir... I have a lot of work remaining. Please excuse me."
"W-wha?"

"Is everything alright?" Jevonne asked.

"WHAT THE HECK IS SHE DOING HERE?" Cedric's face changed. The happy go lucky face was lost and in exchange for that, a thrilled and excited one appeared. His eyes showing how he was loving everything, that he longed for more.

"Hah... You never make the wrong decision" said Cedric... "You did prove me wrong, and well, I don't hate it." He grinned.
