Damn, this was bringing tears in my eyes writing this, and it's only the beginning. 😭

Y/n jolted up from his sleep as he was breathing heavily, he grabbed his scythe and got up from the log he was laying his back on. He stretched and continued on his path, he could smell a hint of blood and hear growling from a distance. Y/n continued walking until he heard multiple howling making him run.

Y/n: (Those howls doesn't sound like normal wolves, whatever is out here must be strange and I don't want to find out what it is.) He thought while kept running.

He turned his head and saw that he was being chased by strange men, their clothes was partially ripped, their skin was pale, and teeth were sharp. He kept running until he stopped as their were more in front of him, they had weapons and were riding horses. They began to surround him as he grabbed his scythe, they all charged at him as he jumped above them and did bounced off one of their head. He climbed up the side of the tree onto a branch, he looked down to see them climbing up, he waited until they reached the top and kicked them off. They grabbed his leg and started pulling him, he was trying to shake them off but they had a strong grip on his leg, they squeezed his ankle making a cracking noise. Y/n screamed in pain and stabbed them with his dagger making them fall down. The rest of the 2 climbed up the tree, Y/n jumped downed and tried to run but his right ankle was almost broken making him collapsed on the ground. He used his scythe to help himself up, they swung their weapons at him as he threw himself out the way, he rolled to his feet and blocked both of their attacks. He sliced one of their necks and stabbed the other's leg.

(You look human but you're not, what are you?) Y/n thought as he then stabbed it in his head with a dagger.

Y/n used his scythe to walk, he didn't want to wait and see if their were more. He went as fast as he could, he fell down a small hill, trying to safely get down. He hurried the best he could to a village nearby, he climbed inside a window and quickly closed it. He took off his sandal and saw a mark around his ankle, he felt that it was stinging and could barely move his foot around. He then ripped a piece of his cloak and wrapped it around his ankle and foot, he put his sandal back on and stayed on the floor.

Y/n PoV

"Don't move." I heard someone say as they put a gun on the side of my head. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

I opened my mouth like I was going say something and quickly snatched the gun away from them, I pointed it back towards the person which was an old man, he looked terrified.

"P-please don't shoot me." He begged with his hands up.

I gave him back his gun as he slowly took it back, "You're an outsider, but what are you doing here?" He asked.

"I was running from some monsters and I ended up here. Do you mind if I stay here for a while? My leg is kind of messed up right now." I said to him as he handed me a pistol.
