Indie was at a fan signing event, and somebody came up to her and insulted her. An ARMY cares for all the members. Indie told everyone afterwords. So anyone who doesn't care for everyone isn't an ARMY, in fact, they're just as bad as any hater.

In the beginning of their debut, Indie faced a lot of criticism for being the only girl, especially since she was fairly new to Korea and was still learning the language.

ARMY's noticed Indie seemed to be feeling down on a V-Live that day, and she tried to assure everyone that she was fine on twitter, but misspelled the word calm. This soon became a trend to purposely say, "I am clam" instead of "I am calm"

Indie once bumped into a family member she didn't recognize. The family member however was a different story, she kept talking to Indie as if they were best friends. Indie awkwardly nodded a greeting to her, failing to escape from the clingy woman.

Indie was met by a group of girls who all kept annoying her, repeatedly asking about comebacks and mixtapes. Fed up, she turned to them feigning shock, letting them know she didn't want to be pestered.
❝Hey kid—piece of advice—you should dance like nobody's watching because otherwise they'd probably spend their time watching weird dances on TikTok rather than your amazing one.❞
Indie met a little boy dancing near the back of a restaurant. When the boy noticed her, the boy got embarrassed and stopped. Indie quickly shook her head, encouraging him to dance more often in front of people instead of behind their back.
