The Dragon Twins of FairyTail

Chapter Seven

Dreams. Dreams can also become terrible nightmares. When I was a child I would always have nightmares that when I wake up in the middle of the night I'm crying and sweating. I had cried so hard my eyes were always bloodshot and puffy. I won't move until I see sunlight the next morning. Sunlight has always been a safe haven for me, it's kind of weird because I love to sleep in a pitch black room with a the curtains closed. After I joined the FairyTail guild everything had changed I stopped having those nightmares, until we met that strange dark hearted dragon the other day.

Regans POV

I wake up to see that I'm at home in the girls dorm of FairyTail. I sit up in bed and look around. I yawn and stretch and start to head to my bathroom to take a bath. On my way i stop at my jeweled dresser and get out a tank top and a pair of my short skirts and headed into the bathroom. After filling up the tub with warm water I stare at the wall thinking about what had happened yesterday. Then I notice that today is gonna be another crazy day at the FairyTail Guild.

Nias POV

I wake up screaming and crying just like I did when I was a little kid. Stunned I put on a tank top and a pair of shorts. I brush my teeth and put my long brown hair into a messy bun and add a little white bow to make it look like I tried to look nice. As I'm walking down stairs a feel a weird magic presence, it was not faint but very very close. Ignoring it I shut my door and start to walk down the hallway as quietly has I could so that I would not wake any of the other members who were most likely still in their beds sleeping. No matter how hard I tried my foot steps echoed throughout the facility. I hear voices behind me I look back to see who it was. There was no one there, I turn around and continue to walk down the hall down the stairs. I come out of the entrance to see that today was going to be a very nice day to relax the weather was perfect for a swim. We could all go get smoothes together at the new store they just built in town. I started to make my way to FairyTail, but for some reason I started to wander off again into the forest. I start to walk down a path that looks like it has not been used in a really long time. That's when my memory of what happened there became fuzzy.

Regans POV
"I wonder were Nia is." I ask Natsu
"What? Well she's probably taking a bath because she got dirty." he scoffs at Regan surprised she had not thought of that idea by herself. "Well yea but," I begin then I put my head down to stare at the floor "It just doesn't make any sense." I say as i begin to lean up against a wall.
"What doesn't?" He replies while taking a bite out of his fruit topped buttermilk pancakes.
"I don't know." I reply telling to truth
"She just seems off." I finally say after moments of thinking how to word it.
"Off?" Natsu responds. "What do you mean by off?" He asks me with a serious look on his face.

Nias POV

I'm falling, falling into a deep void in a dark place. It looks kind of like space but not the stars are much bigger than they are on earth. This vision only lasts until I see the outline of a dragon, it comes closer to me whispering in my ear "I will find you.....master." Then everything disintegrates including the dragon. That's when my vision returns to normal. Terrified of the vision and what it meant I sprint back to the guild to tell the others.

"YOU GUYS!" I say as I burst through the guild halls doors.
"Nia!" Regan exclaims
"What happened what took you so long it's almost six o clock." Natsu says a bit irritated that the day had gone by so fast.
"Come with me!" I plead

They turn to look at each other then shrug and follow me through town into the forest.
"What happened to you?" Natsu asks
That's when I begin to break down. I stop running and fall to my knees tears welling up in my eyes.
"What's wrong?" They both say and lean down to comfort me. I stand up and turn to face them.

"Something is wrong with me, I was in the forest earlier today,"
"Wait a minute you were in the forest by yourself?!" Regan scolds me "You and I both know what could happen to you if your alone!"
"Hey." Natsu says nicely while putting his hand on Regans shoulder "Let her finish." Then he puts his attention back on me.
I nod my head thanking him and turn to them both and continue.
"I had a vision about a dragon," I start
"Its just a dragon." Regan says starting to get very irritated.
"IT WAS NOT A NORMAL DRAGON VISION THE DRAGON SAID TO ME "I WILL FIND YOU MASTER!"

This finally caught Regans attention.
Natsu just stared at me with a worried and confused look on his face.

"But your a dragon SLAYER not a dragon TAMMER!" He says while looking up at the sky waiting for a dragon to take me away.

"But this dragon is a nice dragon!"
"Nice? You think it's gonna be nice once it takes you away from us and kills you?!" Regan screams at me

"What? Natsu tell her that won't happen." When I get no response I turn to look at him. I notice that he is staring into my eyes. I stare at his bronze irises for a moment then look away.
"Okay if you both are that worried come up with an idea." I say directly to Regan

"I know Nia, Natsu could be your body guard because he does not need a sister to use his magic. Regan says to me
"The only reason I can't is because we need to be together to use our magic so if I asked you to run I would not be able to use my magic." she explains

"Oh but," I start to protest
"Natsu are you okay with being her body guard?" He looks at Regan to me then back to Regan.

"Sure." he finally says looking at me for my say
"Fine I'm okay with that." I turn and begin to walk away. Regan walks in the opposite direction, I walk towards the ocean I hear something behind me I look behind me to see its Natsu already starting his job has my body guard. He looks up at me and I smile and look up at the sky.
"Now where are you hiding dragon?" I say looking up at the sky.
