Chapter 4: Jealous

"He's so big" Damian states as he kisses Seth's chubby cheek.

"I know, I wish he would stop growing!" I kiss my babies nose "it seems as if every time I blink he grows more"

"Don't worry, he's always going to be your baby" Damian hands him back and I gladly take him "how are you and Stephen?" He sits down

"I really don't know, we haven't really talked about it. I want Seth to be around him, but I'm just not sure I'm ready to move on you know?" He nods "I want to think things through. I don't want to rush it all. I mean I'm not the sams girl I was back when we where together" I give Seth a baby cookie

"I understand, it's hard on both of you, and little Seth. But it's not just about you and Steph anymore. There's a baby in the picture now. You gotta think what's best foe him too" I nod

"Hey Bri-" Stephen walks in "oh sorry I didn't know you where busy" he looks at Damian and I

"Don't worry man" Dame stands up "I just came to check the baby out and see how he was doing, I'm leaving now" he gives me a small kiss in my cheek and leaves. Why does it feel like the night all over again?

"Come in" I lay Seth down in the bed

"Sorry I interrupted, I didn't know Damian was here" Stephen looks  little upset

"You're fine don't worry about it, he just wanted to see Seth" I smile

"Oh is he close with him?" He sits next to Seth

"I guess you can say it. He always called me through Skype to check up on us" I look at him

"So he always knew where you where at? Like when you left San Francisco?" He looks at me with hurt in his eyes? Or jealousy?

"Well yeah, I spent 3 or 4 months in Portland with my sister and her boyfriend, who happens to be LaMarcus Aldridge, Damian's teammate"

"So while I was worried sick about you you where with Damian?" He asked angrily

"I was with my sister Stephen, Damian was helpful,  as where LaMarcus and your brother. I don't understand why you're so upset about it!! You're the one who broke up with me Stephen!" I grab Seth and look directly at Steph "you called me so many names that I'd rather not say. Why are you so mad about the fact that I'm friend with Damian,  he was there when I needed someone the most"

"Because he's in love with you! Can't you see it? I know I messed up, big time. But I hate to think that you want him too" I looke at him, he's unbelievable!

"I'm not going to move on that quickly. I don't need a man to take care of my son. So now if you'd excuse me, it's Seth's nap time" I open the door so he could walk out "Later Stephen" I close the door before he could reply. Ughh

Stephen

I ruined it big time. I walk back to my hotel room, where Celina and Klay are waiting for me. I was supposed to go invite Bri for lunch but it didn't go as planned. Clearly. 

"Where is she?" Celi looks behind me "why that face?"

"We got in an argument" I sit down

"Uh oh, what did you do this time?" Klay sits Celina on his lap

"I got jealous of Damian" I hear Celina groan

"Really? You can't accept the fact that he looked after her and your son? Jesus Stephen! If you're worried because you think she likes him, she doesn't. She has no eyes for anyone else but you. Why can't you see that?! You boys are caveman! Enjoy lunch together" she removes herself from Klay's lap and storms out. Klay gives me this nasty look.

"Sorry?" I shrug

"Let's get going I'm starving"

So the Warriors lost to the Pacers and Steph was out with an injury... but they beat the Spurs Friday ^.^ yay!
