Village Panic ~~ 3

  The next morning, everyone woke up from their rather uncomfortable sleeps. Boron, Seito, and Hanabishi all crammed on the couch, as well as Keita and Toru on the floor. The chair Haruma had falled asleep in was now empty, he had already left.

  "What time is it anyways?" Hanabishi said groggily, still in the process of waking up.  Boron pulled his flip phone from his pocket to look at the time.

  "Already 10:00? How did we sleep in this late?" Boron said. Time wasn't much of a worry as there was no school today. 

  "Well I guess we should get up and be useful." Said Toru, standing up from the floor and stretching out his back.

  The five all got up and headed outside, but what they were met with was... unexpected. Besides the occasional fight, this much commotion wasn't usual in the village, though there didn't seem to be any violence. Tons of villagers all huddled together, talking frantically about something the boys couldn't quite make out. 

  "Can you believe this?" A man said, looking at the boys. Hanabishi shrugged. "Believe... what?" 

"How have you not heard!" The man looked shocked. "That famous model Niina Fuwa... she was killed last night!"

  "K-Killed...?" Seito stepped back, trying to keep his balance. He couldn't believe what he was hearing, he felt sick. 

  "N-No! She wasn't really k-killed... was she?" Tears started to well up in Seito's eyes. Seito looked up to Niina more than anyone, he considered himself her number one fan. He didn't know how to take the news he had just received. The other's just stood there, they couldn't believe someone as famous as Niina would just be killed.

  "How did it happen?" Hanabishi asked, curious of the gorey details.

"Hey.. Han.. Seito probably doesn't wanna hear-" Keita started, but the man already began explaining. 

  "Well according to what I've been told.. she was attacked by a couple angry villagers last night around 2:00am. She was hit to the head with some sort of heavy object, then stabbed twice... once in the stomach and once in the chest. The villagers then fled the scene and she was left there to die alone in her house. They realized she was gone when she was late to a photoshoot scheduled around 8:30, and that's when the photographers found her."

  Seito couldn't hold back anymore, tears streamed down his face. He yelled as he ran back into his house.

  "Seito, wait!" Boron yelled, quickly running after him. The others promptly followed. 

  "Seito! Let me in!" Boron yelled as he stood outside Seito's bedroom door.

"Fine.." Seito replied through his sobs. Boron opened the door to see Seito, sobbing on his bed and staring at the pictures of Niina he kept on his walls. The others ran into Seito's house and stood outside of his bedroom with boron.

  "Is she really just... gone?" Seito asked. "In a single night.. just gone like that?" Boron stepped into the room and sat down on the bed beside Seito.

  "Hey.. it's fine. You didn't even really know her anyways-" Boron tried his best to try and think of something to say to comfort Seito, but he just sobbed even louder. 

  "Not helping Boron..." Seito said through his tears.

"Hey wait..." Keita started. "What about Haruma and Nora? Aren't they still out hunting? Shouldn't they know that there might be killers on the loose?" He exclaimed. Toru seemed to grow very worried now. 

  "You're right.. I completely forgot they were still out there! We have to go make sure they're okay, now!!" Toru yelled. Keita nodded.

  "Guys, we're going to go check on Haruma and Nora." Keita said to Boron and Seito.

"Okay.." Boron said. "I'll stay here with Seito.. you guys please stay safe." He said. It was rare to see him show his care for others. 

  Toru, Keita, and Hanabishi all left Seito's house and began making their way into the forest, Hanabishi grabbing a kitchen knife on their way out, just in case they were to encounter these murerous villagers.
