Jaws were dropped. Eyes were widened. In an instant, their heads all whipped to the direction of where the maroon haired boy was.
"What did he look like? What about his powers? Where did this take place?"
"Did you battle him?"
"What was Kibutsuji doing? Did you find his stronghold? HEY, ANSWER ME!!"
"Shut up! I asked him first!"
"First, tell us what powers Kibutsuji has!"
All of these questions the Hashiras were throwing at Tanjiro made his head spin. Luckily, the Master had took notice and placed his index finger to his lips, signaling the Pillars to silence.
"Kibutsuji has sent pursuers after Tanjiro. And although we don't know his purpose for that, Kibutsuji has given himself away for the first time, and I don't want to let go..."
"I also believe that things are happening to Nezuko that Kibutsuji had never saw it coming. Can you all try to understand?" The Master said.
"No, I can't understand, Master. Not after all that we the Demon Slayers have gone through in battle! Not after so many people have lost their lives!" Sanemi said, while slightly raising his voice.
He was furious. A demon besides him fight other demons would only sound like fiction. Out of nowhere, Sanemi did something that no one could've predict.
He took his katana, and slit himself on his forearm. The thick red substance had started oozing out of his arm and splattered onto the ground.
'What are you doing?! You're making the garden filthy!' Mitsuri thought with lips curled downwards.
"Master! I will prove it to you myself! The sheer ugliness of a demon!" The wind hashira had said with a wide prideful smile on his face.
"Hey demon! Sink your teeth into this! No need to force yourself to hold back. Just show us your true colors, and I'll obliterate you right here!" The wind Hashira yelled.
