A/N: I hope you enjoy, I was a little caught up yesterday and today, but I hope you like it, I wasn't sure who you wanted to have it, so I assumed the reader, enjoy!

It started small, you had just joined the church after a battle, well, a singing competition, you enjoyed it quite a lot and you had agreed to join after the first song you two sang, you started working with Sarvente, as she told you how glad she was to have you joining the church! Especially now since that would mean she would have more help around the church and her duties.

That other help she mentioned came in the package of a taller man, with a fluffy jacket and hat, you had caught him talking to Sarvente when you showed up a bit earlier than usual to help her today, once you met him you gave him a friendly welcome, you could tell the two seemed to be attached at the hip, even if you did not always see him around, you could assume they had a strong bond.

Which kind of worried you at first, but as time went along, you did your best for not only the church, but for the other two you were accompanied by, you had not exchanged too many words with Ruv, but when you two did, you always had Sarvente around almost always, those two were important to one another and it was easy to tell, even if Ruv seemed like a brick wall when it came to learning about him.

You were helping Ruv with some of the columns after all the things that happened after two showed up and caused problems, Sarvente simply wanted them to join but you showed up a bit too late to try and take care of the issue before the church took damage, something you were told would happen at times, but it would be very sparse, when it was explained to you Sarvente kept it in a hush tone.

You were not as strong as Ruv, but you helped with picking up rubble as Ruv took care of the larger things in the building, such as the large hole in the wall, you were almost in awe as you stared at him working on the open wall, picking up some of the pieces and moving them out so he would be able to have it all cleaned up and cleared for fixing.

You watched him for a moment as you held a piece of rubble in your hands, admiring the mans hard work, as you felt a small lurch in your chest, as it bubbled up in your throat, maybe this dust you were both kicking up was going to give you some sort of medical issue, but it felt like nothing but an itchy throat.

You heard the man speak to you from afar as he paused from dropping another collection of destroyed stone in his hands to look at you, as you raised your head to meet his eyes.

"You okay?" He asked quietly, and what you assumed to be uncaring almost, but as time went along you began to pick up on tiny indications when it came to Ruv's way of speaking.

"Yeah, guess I just got some dust in my face is all." You stated with a small laugh as you continued to carry the piece you had out of the area you were in, and into the pile of left over wall and sparing pieces from the broken columns and designs.

You felt like he was still looking at you, it was like it was staring through you, but it felt nice, comforting even as he did, but you almost felt the eyes leave your figure and go back to what he was doing, you felt a bit different, you were not sure how to explain it.

All these of you were finishing off for the night, it was upsetting to see such a large hole in the place you mostly considered a homely place, you felt something twist inside of you as you felt your eyes drift the walls of the place, moonlight prepared to enter through the crack in the wall like snow in a broken window.
