A Dizzy Story.

Chapter 2: Let the heart-break begin.

The day Devon got a girlfriend would be the day Izabelle's whole world would change, at least that's what she told herself. She wanted to be his first girlfriend, so when she found out about this other girl he was dating, she was not okay Yasmine and Izabelle where in 6th period social studies, they were peer reading, Devon was right across from them. Izabelle had chosen this spot because as she says, "I like my view." She later regretted choosing that spot. She heard things she wish she hadnt heard.  Devon was hanging out with his guy friends, talking about girls. Izabelle was doing her normal "pretending-to-be-busy-but-actually-ease-dropping" act.  She over heard something she wish she hadnt heard. Devon was planning on asking out a girl...that wasnt her. Izabelle would of been some-what okay with it if:

 1) The girl wasnt in her class.  2) The girl was at least pretty.

Becka was her name. Ew Becka was disgusting. She had no outer beauty at all. Her face was covered in acne, and her hair was too greasy. Izabelle was convinced that Devon was just messing around. That he didnt even have a thing for Becka. It clearly was a joke. But when one week, passed, and Becka and Devon where still together Izabelle knew it wasnt.

As I said earlier, Izabelle took matters into her own hands. First she pretended to be best friends with Becka, just so she could get all the inside-scoop with her and Devon. Then she asked Devon for his number. The way Devon and Izabelle texted, you would think they were dating. They texted for six hours straight, just on the first day. Then at school, they actually talked to eachother, it was quite overwhelming for Izabelle. 

When Becka came up to Izabelle, telling her she might break up with Devon, Izabelle wasnt sure how to feel. Was she suppose to be happy that he would be single, or was she suppose to be worried that this would crush him? Believe it or not Devon seemed to be really into Becka, but he also seemed really into Izabelle. When Becka finanly called it off with Devon, he reacted in no way. He played it cool, actually that's a lie. Izabelle would catch him looking in Becka's direction. That only lasted for a week though. Shortly after, Devon begin to pay more attention to Izabelle.  Becka still talked to Izabelle, and knowing that Izabelle had a crush on Devon told her that they should go out.  Izabelle already knew this, and she was working really hard on getting Devon to ask her out, but it just wasnt working.
