Chapter 7: Night Off

(Dairoku's POV)

I woke up in the middle of the night to the sudden shift of the bed... I opened my eyes to see Ruby, in her crimson underwear, running directly towards the restroom before shutting the door behind her... I was confused and got up, in my black boxers and walked over to the door but as soon as I got to it, I heard the sounds of... vomiting??? I opened the door and there she was... Ruby was on her knees with her face in the toilet, vomiting up whatever she had left... I sat next the her and began to rub her back...

Ruby: D-Daiku...?

Me: It's okay... Let it all out...

She nodded before continuing her business... After a few seconds, it was over and she was leaning against me, breathing heavily, her eyes looked stressed and tired...

Me: Are you okay?

Ruby: I'm fine... I guess it was just morning sickness... God... I feel so lightheaded...

Me: That makes sense... You wanna go back to bed?

Ruby: Yes please... and carry me there...

Me: *chuckles softly* Sure thing.

I picked her up bridal style and walked back over to our bed. Once I set her down, I laid down next to her, only for her to immediately plant herself directly on top of me and snuggle into me... I laughed before pulling the covers over us.

Ruby: Goodnight, Daiku.

Me: Goodnight Roselyn.

"THIS TIME, I WILL END YOU!"
CHAPTER 7: NIGHT OFF

(3rd Person POV)

Currently in the training room, Blake was using her Shadows to hop from pillar to pillar while Yang tried to catch up to her, all the while dodging Dust Arrows from Tyros. Underneath them, Wither's summon, a Beowolf charged at Weiss, who surrounded it by Gravity Glyphs, then slammed it into the Glyphs. Then she summoned a White Glyph to knock it back towards Winter who stopped it with her Glyph but she suddenly winced in pain and fell to one of her knees, as a tiny version of Weiss' Arma Gigas slashes her ankle. Winter glared at her younger sister, who just smiled innocently at her and giggles.

Celeste: Good job, Weiss Cream!

Weiss blushed and waved to her fiancé who was currently dodging attacks from Skye's Semblance, Holy and Demonic Manifestation. As this happened, Jaune was using his shield to block a bouncing ball as Nora kept hitting it with Magnhild. She then activated Magnhild's upgrade to charge herself up, before hitting the ball again which Jaune blocked but it pushed him back a bit. He stood straight the breathed out, as his Aura shimmered brightly. Oscar and Neo looked at the former's scroll, to see Jaune's aura refurnishing.

Neo: That's amazing...

Oscar: Nice, your recovery is getting faster.

Nora walked over to Jaune who gave her a thumbs up as Nora gave him a pat on the back. As this happened, Dairoku had his eyes closed as he held Andromeda within his right hand. His wings slowly sparked up flames his aura ran flowed into Andromeda, before setting the blade a flame... Then he opened his eyes, revealing them to be glowing a fiery orange.

Dairoku: Come!

Just as he said that, Crystal and Octira sped towards him. Crystal fired off a shot from Savior at Dairoku, who redirected it back to her. Seeing her own projectile fly back to her, Crystal side stepped to dodge it, just as Octira sent a Wind Dust Blade kick towards Dairoku, who blocked it with Akoúo Sins. He knocked her back before speeding up to her and slashing down on her with the Andromeda, it's blade engulfed with flames. Octira managed to block it with an Earth Dust Blade on her arm before Crystal activated her Semblance, Dusk and created an ice wall in between Dairoku and Octira. As he turned around to look at his cousin, she already had sent some more icicles towards him. He slashed them in half with Andromeda before creating a fire dagger and kicking it towards Crystal who blocked it but it erupted right in her face, knocking her back.
