CHAPTER 6

I looked at his face with hope but it vanished when I was interrupted by his best friend Zach, I got too frustrated Ryan was finally going to tell me and thanks to his best friend he didn't, I didn't even turn to look at him, I walked out of there upset and don't even think I will let him off that easy because I'm starting to suspect he likes Hannah.

I walked to my classroom when the doorbell rang, but first I decided to travel to the coffee shop, I arrived and ran into Hannah and Aidan apparently arguing about something, I hid to look at them when I noticed how Aidan was getting sad about something and Hannah was just hugging him, I don't know what was going on but it wasn't something good.I decided to leave them alone, I walked to my classroom, I had maths class again I went at a slow pace, after all that teacher was always late, I entered the classroom making everyone watch me, I ignored their stares and went to my seat, I could notice through the window how it started to rain, I love rainy days but why today? I have to go home dry not wet, I hate to call for taxis but I have no choice. Five minutes later the teacher arrived.He started leaving easy exercises and I was happy.- When you finish bring your notebooks to my desk, I will return them tomorrow.We all nodded and he left the room, I finished my exercises early, left them on his desk and left the room, after all it was almost time to leave.I walked aimlessly through the corridors, but I noticed Aidan in a room where he was alone, he didn't look well at all so I decided to approach him.- Are you ok? - I asked him and he looked at me sadly.- If I said yes, would you believe me? - I shook my head and he sighed.- I'm not fine t/n, I'm going through some things right now. - I looked at him, no words were needed, we have a connection, I could see it in his green gaze.- It'll be alright Aidan - I said.- Sorry for being rude to you T/n, I don't know what's wrong with me lately - I gave him a half smile.- Don't worry, it happens.- I hadn't noticed that you're cute - he blurted out making me blush.- Thank you, it's the first time we've been close to each other.- I'm glad to know more about you. - I smiled at him and he did the same although he smiled sadly, I sighed and hugged him, I waited for him to pull me away but he didn't. I was so happy.- You're my friend just like Ava, don't hesitate to vent to me, sometimes we need support. - He nodded his head, leaving it on my shoulder.I couldn't help but feel happy, knowing that he has a little confidence in me makes me happy.He stood up making me feel surprised.- Would you like to go somewhere with me? - he asked, I hesitated at first but then nodded.- Shall we go right now? - he nodded taking my hand, where are we going? I felt curious, he was pulling me by the arm through the corridors, they rang the exit bell making him hurry up more.- It's raining Aidan - I said as he kept pulling my arm.- We'll have to risk it - he took off his red sweatshirt and gave it to me, I put it on and thanked him with a smile.We walked back to the exit without anyone seeing us, we ran out and we both started to get wet, I couldn't help but laugh at the situation, I could never have imagined this scene with Aidan, and after me he laughed too.We walked for about 10 minutes, we were wet but it didn't matter, we arrived to a waterfall, it was getting dark and the rain had stopped, the waterfall was beautiful, the sound was more than relaxing, the blue water was shining, I looked at Aidan amazed and he looked at me smiling at my reaction.- This is beautiful.- I know, it's one of my thinking places.I smiled at him, I don't care if I get sick right now.- Come - he said and I started to follow him, we arrived near the waterfall, we both just put our feet in, I looked at him and I was surprised to see how his green eyes were shining and I could see myself reflected in them, my heart started to beat fast, I don't know what this feeling was but I didn't want it to go away.- Thank you - I said and he looked deeper into my eyes.- Why? - he asked making me smile.- For showing me this place, you made me happy Aidan, I needed it - he looked at me with a sad smile and I couldn't help thinking that we were both fucked.- We are fucked - I said and he smiled.- True but you more so - he said and we started to laugh out loud, his laugh is too contagious.I smiled and smacked him without being harsh, we laughed when I almost fell into the water, I wouldn't change this moment for anything, who knew? Aidan's sweatshirt smelled like him, it made me happy to know him as Aidan and not "Aidan Ryan's brother".After a while we decided to leave, it was already 8:58 pm and it was getting late and we each had to go home, he offered me his hand to stand up, I accepted it and when we made contact I could feel an electricity which I ignored when we started walking, he offered to walk me home and I accepted because I was afraid to walk alone so late.On the way we laughed about various things, we arrived, he stopped me and said before I entered my house:- T/n I don't mind being fucked if it's with someone like you - I blushed and smiled at him - I say the same - I said.I proceeded to take off his sweatshirt but he stopped me saying that I should keep it, at first I refused but when I saw that he wasn't going to accept it I decided to keep it, I thanked him again and said goodbye to him and then I went into my house, I tried not to scream from the emotion, although I had to take a shower as fast as possible before I got a cold.I took a shower and kept thinking about how well I did today, being positive works better than I thought it would.I put on my towel, dried off and put on my pyjamas, fell into my bed and then almost fell asleep, when suddenly my eyes widened like a plate, FUCK I LEFT MY BACKPACK IN THE CLASSROOM!
