Chapter 11

It had been weeks since me and TJ met each other we hit it off pretty well. His friends and I are even close. Especially me and jade that's my homie. Her baby bump has popped even more. Me and TJ are still just friend even though he hinting to being more but I'm not ready for all that just yet. My dad is like vampire just looking to spill blood. And I don't want to just hand my best guy friend over.

I hung with TJ my whole winter break. Now im back in school and he has been picking me up after school. Which I don't mind but a lot of people have been questioning who he is and ifi dad knows a lot of people know my dad and report to him but now he knows I'm seeing some guy and he wants to meet he just to see if he is worthy of even being with his daughter. I'm suppose to tell TJ he wants to meet but I don't think I'm going to let that happen just yet.

I walked out of school I and looked for TJ's car and he soon pulled up and scooped me. "Hey " I hugged him and he pulled off. "What's up ?" "Nothing much tired how was YA day?" He looked at me "iight shit ain't been going they way we thought " "what are Yall exactly here fortune I can help YALL" "maybe but I don't want you in any of this so its cool if I need you I'll ask you." He said sounding more rude then nice. "Okay fine shit " I folded my arms "stop that ma I'm just saying" "nah it's cool. I understand. But I would think by now I'm not a random but I hues im wrong." "You not wrong it just not for me to tell." He grabbed my thigh and squeezed it slipped his hand in between my thighs.
We ended up riding around for a while and then we chilled at the hotel and ate and I went back home.

TJ

"Man I figured out today what his name is " jeremy said to me as soon as I got back in the house. "What?" "His name Curtis or some shit and he the boss around here he run all of New York " "okay you get an address yet?" "Give me a day or two and I will." "Ava wanted to help she probably could have but I don't trust nobody I like her but bitches is just as shady." Jeremy laughed as jade mugged him. "Nigga you rude as fuck she like YA ugly ass and you dogging her out." "I'm feeling her a lot but I'm being realistic " "whatever" Jade walked away. "What's up with her" "don't pay her no mind she been her feelings all day." He said following behind her.

As soon as I got alone my mind went straight to Ava. So I text her

Me: what you doing
Ava baby:thinking about you
Me: oh really?
Ava baby: yeah
Me: so you gone stay with me this weekend?
Ava baby: maybe if you act right
Me: me ? I'm always good
Ava baby: right call me im bout to lay down

We talked on the phone out usual routine and fell asleep.

When I woke up I knew today I had a lot to figure out. I need to figure out where Curtis live and how I'd get to be with Ava for real.

First things first Curtis. I called jeremy to see where he was I hadn't heard from him all morning. "Yo where you at?" "I went to go look for Jade but she not where her letter said she was. I'm worried man." "What wait where you at?" "I'm at the store down the street from the hotel" "I'm on my way."

When I got to the store it wasn't a big store so if she was here you'd see her she's short but she not that invisible. "She still not answering her phone man." Jeremy was nervous but his anger was starting to get to him. "What the hell man." "I have a feelin this is not a joke" I started to think.

Then jeremy phone rang "this her " I stood waiting listening to his convo as soon as he started breathing heavy I knew something was wrong. He threw his phone. "They got man my baby she pregnant man they just started something they ain't ready for" he was shaking I knew his attitude by now and I'm not the one that could calm him so I'd just let he go crazy like I knew he would.
"Man I'm here lets go" "I found out where he live and I didn't want to go in all crazy but if need be I will." "He got family?" "Yeah I'm sure I just don't know who." We got in my car and drove the streets waited for someone on Curtis crew to be slipping and catch them.
This one unlucky fellow at a local strip club was the one that was the easies. I could tell he was down the line because he was flashy just yet. That mean he might not be as loyal. We took him in the alley.
"Nigga tell me where I can find Curtis wife!" I yelled he didn't budge I knew I'd have to come a little better I shot him in the foot. "I uhm he's going to kill me man" "look either way you dead so tell us!" "Uhm she don't do much outside the house but his daughter you can find her at school. Her name is Ava" i zoned out my head was spinning. "Ava little short Ava" "yeah that her that his daughter" "FUCK!" I started punching him like he just said my woman was the one that got kidnapped. Jeremy pulled me back and then shot the guy in between the eyes. We jumped in the car. And Jeremy pulled off. I was still shaking. "Man so what you wanna do?" I sighed running my hands over my face." "We got take her man !" I hit the dashboard. "This is some shit"

TJ had been quiet the whole time we drove to Ava school. The crazy thing is she know us so she not even gonna except anything.

She jumped right in and was all happy to see TJ but he was on some other shit right now she kissed him . And he just sat there stone cold. She sat back awkwardly. "What's wrong with you?" She asked him he just looked out the window. She looked at me "what's up with him?" I shrugged my shoulder "why you even pick me up if you gone be all mean. I could have just went home with a friend" I guess she hit a nerve "imma ask you this one time and one time only" TJ said as she listened "who is YA father?" She sighed "he is a owner of many businesses I told you that." "That's bullshit! What's YA father name Ava and stop playing with me!" He turned around yelling in her face. "I know what nigga you better calm YA ass down talk to me like that !" He grabbed her arm "Ava I'm trying not to hurt you I'm trying but you keep lying." "Look ma just tell him it's for YA good" at this point she was crying "your hurting me TJ! You promised you wouldn't do that. " he turned around and started punching the door . "What is going on?! Where is Jade?" She saying crying . "That what we are trying to figure out YA father took her look that my wife my baby. So I'm taking his baby! I don't give a fuck out of respect for TJ I'm not trying to dead YA ass right now but I know he like ya simple ass so I'm chillin but if you give me I reason ma you dead believe that so answer his question." She wiped her tears even though more came afterward. "Look my dad name is Curtis . I'm not a person that tell people that for this reason. I'm sorry TJ I didn't know but you can not kill my father he is my father. Wait a minute why do you want to kill him?" "We don't but he wants to kill us." He sighed she looked like she was Tryna to figure out why.
"You the ones that killed my sister?!" She asked quietly. "YA sister was not a princess okay Ava she tried to kill Jeremy because he liked Jade and not her." She got up and started hitting TJ I had to pull her away from him. He turned around and pushed her back he jumped in the back with her and held her arms. "Chill!" "Nah I hate you I hate you I can't believe you !" She was crying even harder now . I shook my head this was fucked up. TJ held her "stop ma please this is just fucked man" I shook my head he held her hands for a while.

We pulled up into the hotel. And all our goons was waiting outside for us. She was calm now . "Look imma let YA hands go but don't hit me" she didn't say anything but looked at him like she could slap him. He let her hands go. And she just say there looking defeated . I got out to give them privacy . When I stepped I dapped up my shooters. "How you holding up?" "I'm fucking scared but I got his daughter so I'll kill her. It's just messed up right now but I'll be sure to let YALL know soon what the plan is." They nodded .

When Jeremy got out I looked at Ava in the eye I could tell she felt just like me. She hated me but she already loved me in a way. I spoke first "I'm not gonna let nothing happen to you iight? I meant everything I said. Just trust me YA sister -" she slapped me again "she didn't deserve that! TJ o don't care what nobody says and I actually love YA ass like I can't believe this shit! Ughhhh! You not gonna let nothing happen to me !? Okay but what if Jade does thenWhat!?" I stared into her eyes "your dead it's simple and I can't help you because jeremy does not play he don't care about my feelings. I need you to talk to your dad."
