No one POV
Frisk woke up first to the intense sound of magic hitting a barrier. They jumped up from the bed, becoming very dizzy due to the lack of sleep the night previous. Frisk heard rustling out in the hall and backed into a corner of the small room, trying to trace a spell in the air, but failing due to their hands shaking like crazy. The door opened very quickly to reveal the comforting orange flames of Grillby. Although at the moment they weren't quite comforting.

The normal calm flames were whipping back and forth rapidly. A movement that frisk identified as him being worried. The distant clashing of magic still remained.
"Hey Frisk, we have to go." He spoke in a calm voice that completely contradicted his current state. Despite this, Frisk was able to stay calm, though still shaking slightly. They walked over to Grillby and lightly gripped his hand. Grillby offered a reassuring smile and then immediately started walking quickly down the hall. Frisk took this time to study Grillby. He had bags under his eyes and was walking as if he was weighed down, they could see the dried tears. Frisk looked around and realized the windows were covered in a pleasant orange glow, occasionally disrupted with a violent flash of red that Frisk assumed could only be from the Determination team from the academy. The one Frisk was training to be in. Frisk tightened their grip on Grillby's hand as they went down the stairs and to the basement.
"I'm gonna stay down here with you Alright Frisk?" Grillby said lightly, a smile still playing on his lips. Frisk clearly recognized it as fake, but still appreciated the effort Grillby was going through to keep Frisk calm.

They nodded and Grillby walked them over to the beanbag in front of the big TV, picking up the remote and switching it to a kid's channel.

Frisk had settled on the beanbag and Grillby waited anxiously, leaning on the wall by the door, waiting to see if someone got through. He could feel his defenses weakening and knew that a certain skeleton had entered the house. Frisk constantly glanced at the door.

Grillby nearly collapsed once he felt the barrier he had formed shattering. He had hoped he wouldn't need to take this action. He walked over to where Frisk was and made an orange rectangle outline on the wall in the shape of a short door. He walked over and kneeled down to face Frisk.

"Alright Frisk, that door is gonna lead you to a friend of mine's home. I want you to go through there and no matter what, do not come back. No matter what you hear." He said firmly, yet with a calm tone. Frisk nodded. They didn't want to leave Grillby behind, but they wouldn't be able to face Sans if he came. Grillby did a circular motion with his hand and the orange highlighted portion of the wall opened gently to reveal a clam blue hallway. Frisk looked back at Grillby once before disappearing into it.

Grillby POV

Grillby sighed in relief and sealed the door back up. He could see dark spots on his vision. He was using too much magic and wouldn't be able to fight off anyone who tried to come in. He let out a breath and figured now was the best time to admit defeat.

He walked back over to the door and sat on the step down into the basement. Sure enough, a couple minutes later the door swung open to reveal the short skeleton with a glowing blue eye. Grillby stood up and put his hands up with a sad smile.

"Where's Frisk." Sans stated, less of a question and more of a demand.

"Not here." Grillby replied calmly.
