  I stay 'cause I love you....but I hate that I stay

The room was silent for quite some time. Akari was sitting on the couch with Mizuki. Both girls staring at everyone nervously. They were all peering at them intensely.

"Why is everyone looking at us like that?" Mizuki questioned breaking the silence. In an instant, everyone was snapped out of their trance. Shigaraki sighed and plopped down into his chair.

"Two weeks ago we made an attack on UA Highschool." He paused looking around the room to analyze everyone's reactions."In the end, we had to retreat. Not very good as our pride goes, but we did what we had to do."

"You mean because you got shot and almost got your ass killed," Akari grumbled. From beside her, she heard Dabi chuckle. Mizuki and Toga giggled from her other side. Shigaraki acted as if he hadn't even heard what she had said. His attention was instead focused on Kurogiri. Like they were having their own private conversation telepathically. It didn't seem possible but she wouldn't have been surprised if it was. Kurogiri was a man of many talents.

"We have an opening. A chance to get in."

"And do what exactly?" Magne cut in. "Last time I checked we got our asses handed to us by a bunch of kids. Not to mention the pro-heroes. Or do we not remember that."

Of course, she remembered. How could she forget? Him. The seemingly cocky blond with a bad temper. There was something about him that had caught her attention. It wasn't his look. Akari had never really paid attention to things like that. Even though he definitely had them. Maybe it was the way they had fought. Or the way his striking red eyes had calculated her every move. She wanted to know more about the boy. She just wished she could get the chance to fight him again.

A light tap on her shoulder brought Akari back from her thoughts. She looked up to see Dabi and Toga giving her confused looks. Shigaraki was also looking at her with a raised eyebrow. The look didn't last long though because soon Dabi began to speak.

"C'mon don't tell me you're afraid of a couple of fifteen-year-olds, Magne," Dabi grinned shifting in his chair so that he was facing Kenji. His arm draped around the back of his seat.

"It's not the kids I'm afraid of. Last time I checked you weren't even there, so you don't know anything."

"You weren't either. Last time I checked you were here. Scared shitless about to piss your pants because you thought Eraser Head could 'sense' you. Grow a pair."

"I was not-"

"Are you two done or do we have to sit here and listen to your pointless arguing longer?" Mizuki interrupted. Neither Dabi nor Magne said anything else. Mizuki turned to Akari and smirked triumphantly. Akari just shook her head and smiled."Now boss as you we're saying."

"The school's defenses are down but not for long. We need to use this chance while we have it."

"Another attack?" Toga asked absently. She was too busy spinning her knife around her fingers to actually be paying attention. It's not like she actually did anyway. Almost everything Shigiraki said went into one ear and out of the other. She was probably still pissed that she didn't get to be in the attack. Not being able to stab anyone must have been getting to her. Not like she wouldn't find some poor soul to take her anger out on anyway. She would.

"In a way. Last time we were reckless. We didn't strategize as well as we thought. This time we're trying a more subtle approach."

"Meaning?" Akari asked growing impatient.

Shigaraki rolled his eyes at her interruption,"Meaning that from this point on you and your sister are officially students at UA Highschool."
