Small Changes

"Oh! I just had a great idea! Megicula! What do you think would happen if I took Little Noelle?"

The surrounding was quiet for a moment,

Noelle froze,

"No..." Nero said softly her voice strained.

Loropeckia still laid still, half dead, barely breathing.

"You're truly fascinating Vanica! Taking this girl would provide a truly entertaining situation! But, don't you need to dispose of the Heart Kingdom's Wisdom first?"

Vanica looked over at Loropeckia, almost as if she'd forgotten about her.

"Oooh I'd forgotten about that! She's done anyways!"

Vanica said a bored expression on her face, walking over to Loropeckia. Vanica raises her arm, and a massive claw of blood forms on her hand.

"No...you're not going to kill Loropeckia...I'll..." Noelle said trying to stand. However Noelle was unable to stand back up, and she collapsed losing consciousness.

Vanica looked down on Loropeckia, dropping her arm the claw came down on Loropeckia's back, killing her.

Nero watch wide eyed, unable to move because of the restraints Megicula had put on her, she could only watch helplessly as Vanica killed Loropeckia.

"Loropeckia...Noelle..." Nero said her voice strained, as she struggled against the restraints.

Vanica walked over to where Noelle laid unconscious. Noelle's clothes and robe were torn. Loropeckia's blood still dripped down Vanica's hand as she reached down and picked up Noelle by her Black Bulls robe.

"Noelle..." Nero whispered, Nero struggled to keep her eyes open. Eyes half lidded she watched as Vanica started to leave. The last thing Nero saw was Loropeckia's corpse before she lost consciousness.

Noelle's head ached, her ears where ringing. What had happened?

Oh! I just had a great idea! Megicula! What do you think would happen if I took Little Noelle?

Last thing she remembered was Vanica getting ready to kill Loropeckia. So Vanica must have actually decided to take her. That must mean that...that Loropeckia was...was...dead. The thought of her friend being killed sent a shutter through Noelle's body. If Vanica had really taken her...was she in the Spade Kingdom. If she was here that means she had failed. She couldn't protect Loropeckia like she promised. She'd let everyone down. If only she'd been stronger! Tears welled up in Noelle's eyes, threatening to fall.

She'd failed. It was her fault Loropeckia had been killed. It was all her fault.
