Mari is dead due to being pushed down stairs by Sunny( Omori) she was trying to calm him down and things got out of hand, the fall killed Mari and Basil watched it all happen,Sunny(Omori) and Basil carried Mari outside and hung her with a jump rope,probably trying to make it look like suicide so they didn't get in trouble, Mari's eyes bulged through her hair while she was hanging,me and my friend (we'll call her Fry) believe that the monster "behind" Basil and Sunny (Omori) is Mari,getting some sort of revenge for hanging her like that
