Loving Her

CHAPTER THREE

She stood there with a smirk on her face before coming towards me. As she came closer I noticed that she look familiar but I've never seen her in my life. She got closer to where our noses were inches apart. I felt the nervousness wash over me as she made a slight grin. When she did, I realized who she looked like.

"Figured it out yet" she said reaching passed me to grab her shirt off the bed. I stepped back not saying a word, just blushing. She's his sister. We didn't talk much about family. I know his family has a company but that's all I know. I've never seen a picture of anyone in his family.

Walking away to the other edge of the bed she said "I'm Desiree, Nate's sister but everyone calls me Desi."

"Dani."

"Ahh, so you're Nate's girl. I thought you was one of his hoes or stalkers."

I frowned as she said that.

"I'm kidding. Get your panties out your ass. You thought I was one when you saw me so you can't blame me. Plus all his hoes end up wanting me." She winked as she made that comment.

After that we went down stairs. We were getting along with each other. She the same age as me, a year younger than Nate. She's also into girls. We sat there laughing and watching tv then Nate walks in. He threw his keys next to mine. He was walked to the fridge but before he could open it Desi said "You're not going to hello brother." He walked from the kitchen to the edge of the stairs and looked at me and Desi sitting there with a weird look on his face.

"What are you doing here, you can't just show up."

"At least pretend to be happy to see me."

He smiled and walked over to the couch to hug Desi. "Good to see you Des. What are you doing here though, aren't you suppose to be at school in Chicago.

"Transferred."

"Does mom and dad know. You know that won't like it."

"They don't but they live with my choices."

"So where are you staying.

"Here until I find a place and a job."

"No Des, I'm not dealing with you so-."

"You can stay with me." I blurted out. They both looked at me. Nate looked annoyed but also didn't give a fuck. Desi had a slight smile before saying "really?"

"Yeah, I was going to look for a roommate anyway. I would be happy for it to be with someone I know."

"Well there you go, you a roommate and you a place to stay" Nate replied with attitude. "I'm heading to bed."

Nate walked up the stairs and Desi threw her arms around me thanking me. I smiled at her before getting up and heading upstairs. Nate was already asleep when I got up there. I went to lay down and fell asleep beside him. I knew I would wake up early tomorrow to help Desi move into the apartment. I had no idea what this roommate deal would bring but I was sure it would be interesting.
