I might as well be called the queen of bad luck. Yeah, that has a nice ring to it. Brooke, d queen of bad luck!
After a night full of nightmares, I kept thinking of ways to ditch school but I knew mom wouldn't allow me. So, after dressing up for school, I staged a little fall and pretended I broke my right arm and suprisingly she believed me and probably thought I needed a break from school with me having no friends and all.
"Brooke, come downstairs and take your food. Even if you are not going to school today, you still have to eat breakfast", my mom shouted.
"She is not going to school today? What happened?" my dad asked.
"Oh you know how clumsy Brooke is, she broke her right arm. Wow that rhymed", mom said while grinning.
"Not funny, mom. Goodmorning Dad", I said while attacking my food with unfortunately, my "injured" right arm.
"Brooke, I thought your right arm was injured", my dad said.
"Wow, will you look at that, a miracle must have happened", I told them nodding my head and smiling.
"Good, you can go to school then", dad told me. I stood up grumbling and went upstairs to take my bag, said my byes but as I wanted to open the door, I heard my dad say I am grounded for two days for trying to ditch school. I didn't care about that since I have nowhere to go after school until I heard no Tv too.
And that was how I found myself in front of Clarkson High School that morning.
