Yeah....I couldn't believe Drake actually talked to me and even remembered my name. Drake kept trying to talk to me as the class was going on but well, I couldn't reply for two main reasons. First was, I simply do not have the ability to talk to any attractive specimen and the second was, I do not want to get caught talking in class.

I guess Drake finally understood that I wasn't going to talk back for he stopped talking after a while. And the class went on peacefully that is not counting the glares I was getting from girls, especially Natalie and even some guys as well. I knew the bullying will surely get worse today.

As the periods rolled by and it got to time for lunch which was just chips, an apple and a soda for me. I was seating alone like the loner I am until I felt two people sit down on either side of me.

And suprise suprise....note the sacarsm, it was Drake and his loyal friend, Jason.

As you know I do not have the ability to talk to any attractive personality but having two attractive guys in front of me was enough to throw me to a coughing fit....yes, me choking on my apple. As a result, I had Drake hitting me not too kindly on my back to calm me down. I eventually calmed down after coughing for two minutes straight. Yes, that long.

After calming down, as the socially awkward person that I am, started have a panic attack wondering why I had Drake and Jason on the sane table with me. And the whole table staring at me did not help matters. Well, what was I expecting? After all, I was not only coughing loudly for two minutes straight but I've also got two of the most attractive boys in school sitting on the same table with me.

You will probably expect me to talk to them like a normal person would. But well, you know am not normal. So what I did was squeak and took my bag and ran out of the cafeteria.

I tried to make myself as inconspicuous possible. Keyword is tried. I wasn't successful, apart from being the clumsy person I naturally am, the fact that the popular guys at school sat with me during lunch has spread to the whole school like a wild fire and suddenly I was noticed by the whole school including the teachers. Never mind, that I've been in this same school for the last three years.

Not only that, I had Drake at my heels trying to ask what he did wrong and why I wasn't talking, but as the awkward person that I am, I couldn't utter a word in the dictionary and could only make sounds like a speech impaired imbecile.

On hearing the bell signalling end of the last lecture for the day, I was overjoyed until I remembered no TV when I get home meaning no watching of Blackish. But i was still happy nonetheless as I was happy to get away from all the whispers and the glares from girls who felt that I stole Drake from them during lunch.

I got out of school and began my ten minute walk home. It was the smell of fresh pie that welcomed me on getting home, I then, followed my nose to the kitchen. I greeted my mom who was baking pie in the kitchen and took a fork ready to dig into the finished pie when I felt a rolling pin hit my hand. I raised my head to see my mom staring sternly at me and told me not to touch it, as it was for the new neighbours.

"Neighbours? Since when?", I asked.
"They arrived just this morning, I heard that they had to leave their old house because of bad plumbing or something and well that was the only available house. That's why I made this pie to welcome them", my mom told me happily.

"Ok that's cool. Am going to my room, I have loads of homework. Later mom", I told my mom.

I was almost in my room when I heard my mom screamed to tell me to dress well for dinner as she will invite the new neighbours.

Well, I don't mind as inviting people over means my mom cooking delicious food which i so much love so am very cool with that, even though I don't like meeting new people.

Am actually excited to see them, am sure they will be as lovely as the old couple with the nice dogs who lived in the house before them and they just might be an old couple too!
