Helen's pov continued

It was decided that Roger would be staying with us going forward he followed me everywhere and he made me follow him everywhere that ad shoot went horrible after three make models were kicked out by Roger he decided to have a female one she was beautiful but too much to handle she would stare at me and then the remaining time she was checking out Roger and surprisingly he didn't bother the first day she treated me well but the next day she was acting like a wicked old witch she kept on taunting me on my looks weight clothes hair footware even my posture I was fed up of her she was complaining all the time she wanted me to serve her tea which I did but that evil woman dropped it on my hand and the moment she did Roger pulled me away from her and poured the remaining tea on her hand and then  he slapped her  before I could say anything I was dragged in Charlie's office and then he started cleaning my burnt skin with an antiseptic liquid which was burning as hell " we need to see a doctor before it gets worst" he said and carried me to his car and we were on the way to the hospital I hate hospitals " it's ok can we go back " I said but there was no response once we reached there he carried me again to the doctor's office I wanted to run away so I was holding his shirt so tight that I never let it go the doctor started bandaging my hand and said  " she will be fine just rest ok no stress" I looked away just trying to get done with this he gave me some medicine after he was done Roger carried me back to the car and I relaxed I noticed that he was taking me home "are you feeling better " he asked and I nodded my head " why do you hate me so much " he asked " I don't hate you I just don't like you I mean why wouldn't I you destroyed my restaurant the only dream I had " I replied " hmm I will give it back to you " he said I gave him a confused look " you can open a restaurant in the hotel which is going to be built there " he said " really " I replied "yes since I was the one who ruined it I will set it up " he said as we got out of the car I was jumping in joy " thank you so much I thought i had lost it forever" I said hugging him and surprisingly he hugged me back more like crushing me in his arms he carried me home and then to my room " are you happy now" he asked as he placed me on the bed and I nodded he kissed my head and left I got up and changed in my normal clothes and went to sleep I woke up when Charlie was shaking me to have dinner I got up and rubbed my eyes " dinner is ready let's go and how is your hand " Charlie said "better" I replied " you were sleeping on it" Charlie said and I giggled he carried me out and placed me on the chair " how is your hand " Roger asked
" better " I replied again  "we will visit the doctor tomorrow for a check up" he said I cringed at the thought of it and Charlie started laughing " you took her to the hospital" he asked " yes any issues in that" Roger asked in an irritating toned
" no there are no issues but she hates actually she's scared of it you didn't tell him " he said looking at me and I shook my head " why didn't you " Roger asked I just shrugged we were having our dinner in silence when Charlie spoke " that model what's her name hmm Amy she's in the hospital and soon she will be leaving the town" "why" I asked " something happened her face is ruined after your incident she went to her vanity van and then applied her make up but after she was done her skin started peeling her face was destroyed so now her a career is over " he said " but how she was doing fine " I said " yeah they are trying to investigate someone mixed some acid in her makeup but good thing is that it didn't happen in our premises " Charlie said " yeah but it's strange " I said "yeah it is but I have one more thing to tell you I will be going on a business trip to Italy you know what I mean right" Charlie said and I nodded " so you will be staying with Roger and don't trouble him he's not that patient " Charlie said "I know" I said " Roger you will be with her all the time I just don't want any more trouble " Charlie said and Roger nodded i was just about to get up when I noticed a red spot on Charlie's chest " hey what's this"  I said and they both looked at what I was pointing the next thing I know was Charlie getting up and a bullet hit his arm instead his heart I was standing there but knowing what to do  Roger was  screaming on the phone and calling his guards soon the guards surrounded us and I was shoved in my room I wonder who shot Charlie the windows were bullet proof I wanted to see Charlie but the door was locked more than scared I was worried for him this wasn't the first time I had seen him wounded.
