"That was unnecessary, Ronald!" Elira grumbled, going down the stairs with her dripping wet, black hair.

"You wouldn't bloody wake up! What was I supposed to do?" Ron answered, using Ginny as a shield - which didn't really do much as she was small - knowing that Elira would hit him.

Mrs. Weasley looked at Elira's drenched hair and turned to Ron. "What did you do again this time?" She asked.

"It wasn't my fault, mum! She wouldn't wake up and I wasn't going to wait until I grew a beard for her to get out of that bed, so I threw some water on her face." Ron reasoned, still hiding from the annoyed girl that was glaring daggers at him.

"Some?" Elira exclaimed. "You threw a whole bucket!"

"That wasn't nice, Ron." Mrs. Weasley shook her head. Elira sat down, still grumpy but happily ate the breakfast that Mrs. Weasley made for her.

Elira Verena Labelle was born on the 30th of September to the late Alexander and Vivienne Labelle. She spent most of her summers with the Weasleys unless Dumbledore, or "Papa" as she calls him, told her otherwise. Her parents died when she was just a year old, along with her godparents, Dumbledore decided to take her under his wing and from then on, became her legal guardian.

The Weasleys saw her as their own with how much time she spends with them. Ginny was the most delighted out of everyone saying that Elira is the big sister she never had.

Elira often wondered how her parents died. She would often ask Dumbledore about it but his answer would always be "You'll know when the time is right." But when is the right time?

Dumbledore always told her that she was special. Elira, however, didn't understand what was special about her. Sure, some of her hair strands turn bright auburn when she feels an intense emotion, she blows things up when she's mad, and accidentally levitates things, but all witches and wizards can do that...right?

When she turned seven, Dumbledore assigned a witch named Lilura to teach her, Elira didn't know what for but she knew better than to ask questions, knowing that Dumbledore wouldn't give her straight answers.

Lilura taught her a few basic spells, along with some hexes, lending her a temporary wand. When Elira turned eight, Lilura started teaching her how to defend herself without the use of wands.

"Our letter is here!"

Elira was cut off from her thoughts when she heard Ron yell. She quickly finished up her bacon and headed to the living room. The Weasley's family owl named Errol banged straight through the window. "Bloody owl." She heard Ron mutter.
