"Be safe Izuku. Call me when you get back to the dorms." Inko says as she lets her son go from a hug.
"I will mom. Love you." He says and waves as he leaves. She waves and watches till she can't see him anymore and closes the door. Midoriya had asked to have the day off from school because his mother was getting a check up and might have needed help as she wasn't feeling good. Mirio had said his mentor, Sir, wanted to talk to him today also, but he asked to come in tomorrow so he could be with his mother. Turned out everything was fine and she didn't need Midoriya, but they got caught up talking.
'I'm glad it was only a cold.' Midoriya thought as the street lamps lit his way. He would have ran, but he was enjoying the nights cool weather. He took in a deep breath.
'I love this time of night.' He thought and Uraraka came to his mind. He blushed.
"E-Excuse me? Young man?" He heard as he walked by an alleyway and stopped, turning around, seeing an old man with a cane.
"Sir are you OK?" Midoriya asked. The man looked around.
"Yes, i just seemed to have lost my way." He said and turned around, like he was looking for something.
"I was on a stroll, to pick up some snacks so I could visit my late wife, but I took a wrong turn and have been wondering around for hours. I asked a few people, but I only seemed to have gotten more lost." He said. Midoriya walked up to him.
"Oh dear. I'm so sorry to here that. Here, I grew up around here and I can take you to the police station." He said. The old man smiled sweetly.
"You don't see kindness like that now a days." He said but gasped in pain and rubbed his knee.
"Darn arthritis." He said. Midoriya looked at the alleyway.
"If we cut thought the alleyway, it cuts the distance in half." He said. The old man looked.
"If you think it's safe, then I will trust you." He said. Midoriya smiled and offered his arm, which the man took and they walked slowly. Once about half way though, Midoriya saw a thick fog surround them.
"What in the..." He started but his voice was different and he started to shrink. Once the fog cleared, Midoriya was in a pile of his clothes, as a six year old boy and the old man was now a young teen. The man smirked at him and bowed.
"I'm sorry to have lied, but you see, I needed time. There is still so much I wish to do. Enjoy your new life young one." He said and ran off. Midoriya was confused and looked around.
'S-Scary' He thought and had tears before he started to cry.
"Mommy! Daddy!" He cried out as the cold wind hit him and he shivered.
