Family of Villains (Child Midoriya)

Chapter 6 - Letter

Midoriya was laying on the ground, a pen in his hand and he was writing a letter to his mom in front of the couch. Dadi and the others were quietly having a meeting at the bar. It had now been a month since he was with them.

"Are you sure?" Toga asked. Shigaraki gave a nod.

"You said he was in a pile of his clothes. If we let All Might and the other heroes know that we killed him, then they won't go looking for him." He said.

"I don't know if that will work. I know we are targets, but if we tell them he died, they will stop at nothing to kill us." Dabi said. Toga nodded in agreement.

"We could tell them he was kidnapped." Kurogiri said. Shigaraki shook his head.

"No. They found that Bakugo kid to easily and it might be the same with him." Shigaraki said.

"Only because of a tracker. They won't find him." Dabi said. They were silent as they thought but Dabi felt his pants being pulled. He looked and Midoriya was holding up his letter. Dabi took it.

"Dear mommy. Don't worry. I'm with daddy." It said. It was messy, but readable. Dabi then smirked.

"I have a good Idea." He said and picked up Midoriya.

"Hey Kiddo. How about we make a small video for mommy?" He asked. Midoriya smiled.

"Yeah!" He yelled. Dabi looked at Toga.

"Go get the camera." He said.

~A few hours later~

Inko was crying in the police station, All Might and Aizawa were there also.

"We haven't seen him. No letter or anything." Aizawa said. The officer nodded. They had been looking for Midoriya for a month now. Inko was in for her daily check on any news of her son. She was scared that he was dead and couldn't stop crying. Just then, an officer came in. 

"Sir, this was just dropped off." He said and handed them a tape. He took it and they looked at it. It had Midoriya's name on it. 

"Thank you. Come, lets watch it." He said before the officer left the station, a portal taking 'him' back to the hideout.

They popped the tape in, pushing play and Inko gasped.

"Hi Mommy!" Midoriya said and waved at the camera. He was sitting on a couch.

"Don't worry about me mommy. I'm with Daddy. He and I are working on a mission together!" He said and smiled. Suddenly he was picked up and Dabi sat with Midoriya in his lap.

"Say hi to mommy daddy." Midoriya said. Dabi waved.

"Don't worry. The kiddo is save. Midoriya. Go get your pillow and blanket to show mommy." He said. Midoriya gave a nod and got down. Dabi waited a bit before leaning in closer.

"He was hit with a quirk and if you all want him to stay alive, you will do as we say." Dabi said and leaned back.

"Over the news you will say how you will send Hawks and Endeavor to meet us. If we don't hear a response by tomorrow night, Midoriya is dead." He said. Aizawa and All Might looked pissed and Inko was sobbing before Midoriya crawled back on his lap.

"Look what Aunty Toga bought me!" He said and held it up.

"They also bought me a bed, but I have nightmares so I sneak into daddy's bed." Midoriya said and laughed. Dabi smiled and rubbed his head.

"Say goodbye now." He said. He gave a nod and waved.

"Bye mommy! Love you!" He said and the tape cut out.

"Schedule a press release." All Might said and took his phone out, calling Endeavor.

~With Midoriya~

Dabi was laying on his back in bed, Midoriya by his side, under his blanket, head on his pillow and was sleeping as he held his Eraserhead teddy. Dabi looked at him. It was a lie they told the heroes. They didn't plan to kill him even if the heroes didn't do everything they demanded, but Dabi felt his heart getting pulled because he was lying to the child. It just felt...

'Wrong.' He thought and rolled on his side, pulling the blanket higher on the kid. Midoriya smiled.

"Daddy." He said in his sleep. Dabi then remember his own father. All the abuse he went though. All the hate, yet, this boy thinks he is his father. He was lost in thought that he almost missed the soft knocking. He looked and Shigaraki opened the door.

"They are answering." He said. Dabi stood slowly, making sure not to wake Midoriya.
