Inko was woken by someone shaking her. She opened her eyes, seeing Dabi. She moved back, falling a bit.
"Whoa. calm down. I just woke you to say breakfast is ready." He said and moved. She didn't move for a bit before she stood and walked out. Midoriya was sitting, eatting some fruit and oatmeal. He smiled.
"Mommy!" He said. She smiled and walked over and kissed his head. He giggled and went back to eating. Dabi placed a bowl in front of her.
"Not that I care, but I used the last of your fruit." He said and picked his bowl up and ate. She sat and looked at it.
'What did he do to this?' She thought, thinking it was poison. Midoriya looked and smiled. He would always steal aunty toga's fruit. He reached and took a piece of it and ate it. Dabi chuckled and Inko got worried.
"Izuku! don't!" She said loudly. Midoriya frowned and took a piece from his bowl and put it in her bowl.
"Sorry Mommy. here, have mine." He said. Dabi put his now empty bowl in the sink.
"She thinks i poisoned her food Izuku." Dabi said. Midoriya looked at him, then at Inko.
"But Mommy, daddy wont kill you." He said. Inko looked at Dabi, who was leaning on the cabnet.
"He is right." He said. Inko looked at her bowl, picking up her spoon and started to eat. It was good. Midoriya smiled and finished his food. He then wiped his mouth and got down and ran over to Dabi.
"I'm done daddy." He said. Inko looked at them. Dabi got low.
"I see that, but now I have to ask you something." He said and put a hand on his head.
"You have to pick who to stay with. Me, or your mother." He said. Midoriya was silent. He then turned and ran to his mom. Inko got down and hugged him. He hugged her back. Dabi looked sad but stood.
"I promise to visit and write mommy." He said and let her go. She pulled back to look at him but he ran to Dabi and made grabby hands at him.
"Up daddy!" He said. Dabi picked him up.
"B-But Izuku." Inko said, standing and he looked at her.
"Why? Why pick him?" She asked. Midoriya smiled.
"He's my daddy." Midoriya said. Inko had tears. Dabi walked over.
"I will hold my end of the deal." He said. Midoriya looked at him. Inko was shaking.
"Just....Just promise he can visit." She said, trying not to cry. Dabi smiled.
"If you promice not to call the cops on us, i can do that." He said and took his phone out. Midoriya wiped her eyes.
"Don't cry mommy." He said. She looked at him and smiled.
"I'm ok Izuku. D-Don't forget to write." She said. He smiled and gave a nod as they walked though the portal. Once it closed, Inko fell to the ground, crying.
~At the League.~
The portal opened and everyone looked, seeing Dabi with Midoriya.
"Izuku!" They yelled and ran. Midoriya reached and Toga took him from Dabi and held him tight, tears in her eyes. Everyone slowly took turns hugging him. Twice cried, begging him to forgive him, which Midoriya said he never blamed him. Shigaraki was the last to hug him, but even he missed the kid. Dabi smiled, happy to have his son home. That night, as Midoriya slept on Dabi's lap, not wanting to leave him, Hawks made a TV appearance and was true to his word about what he said back at the house and Endeavor was ladled as a villain before being taken to jail for life.
Dabi turned the TV off and stood, Midoriya in his arms and walked to his room. He set him on his bed and got dressed in his Pajamas. Midoriya was already in his Pajames, thanks to Toga, who also gave him a bath and dressed his wounds. He then got in the bed and covered them both. Midoriya smiled.
"Daddy." He said. Dabi smiled before he slowly fell asleep.
