zoe walked into the big building. 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑢𝑐𝑘 she thought to herself. life had changed so fast. in a moment. one moment she was so happy climbing on top of her boyfriend, the next she was staring at her lovers bloody body. so many words were thrown at her at once. powers. witch. gifted. special. it was more then just overwhelming.
now she stood outside Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies. she pushed her anxiety down hoping to make a good impression. this proved harder then expected.
a blonde women walked out with a big smile on her face. "hi! zoe right? come in." zoe followed obediently. her eyes scanned the inside of the school. it didn't look like a school. it was well, empty. she was guided into a room with seats. 𝑎ℎ 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑜𝑛 𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚. zoe didn't know wether she should talk or stay quiet. she decided to stay silent. the nervous girl doubted if she could even blurt out a few words anyways. "okay zoe, I'm sure you are very confused. everything will make sense with time. my name is Cordelia Foxx. I'm the headmistress here at Robichaux's Academy. I'll help you get settled in, if you have any questions you are more then welcome to ask now or later." zoe sat there stunned. she did have questions. lots of them actually. but she ignored them. they were probably stupid. 𝑙𝑒𝑡𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑠 𝑏𝑢𝑠𝑦.
she was shown her room, nothing special but not bad, she sat anxiously on her bed. thoughts were spiralling through her brain
was I too quiet?
do you think she liked me?
what do I do now?
why cant I relax?
her thoughts came to a sudden stop when there was a knock at her door. before she even got the chance to answer the door was opened 𝑜𝑘𝑎𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛. a slim blone girl stood there. she was leaning against the door frame now. she stood there a second before rolling her eyes "well you're talkative aren't you?" "oh erm- hi...sorry I'm Zoe" Zoe internally cursed at herself for being so awkward. the blonde looked at her then walked out "madison. my names madison" she said already out the door. zoe was left alone again. her legs began bouncing. 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑦. 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑦. her thoughts were now plagued by the girl.
some time had passed. it felt like eternity to zoe, she sat there in the same position for hours unsure about what to do.
her door was opened, no one had knocked this time. "there is a party tonight. everyone else is being assholes. coming?" zoe hated parties. but something inside her made her want to impress madison "sure...what time?" "get ready in 30 minutes. take some of my clothes. I can already tell your wardrobe is a disaster." zoe smirked at the remark.
this time madison didn't leave. this time she sat on the bed opposite her scrolling through her phone.
